    Does not seem very FRUGAL to PAY for a weight loss plan.

      I guess it depends on the way you look at it. If you are someone that needs a support system to help you to do it, it is totally worth it. If you have no problem doing it on your own then it is more frugal to do it that way.

        Lose it is a free weight loss plan. It has an app, also. They have an upgraded version you can pay for with extras but I use the free version.

        On the free version, you put in height and weight and decide how much weight you want to lose, and how fast you want to lose it ( .5 lbs a week, 1 lbs a week, etc) and it tells you how many calories a day to eat to achieve your goal by a certain date. It has a section for you to add what you eat for each meal and snacks, to track your calories and show how many you’ve used of your budget and what’s remaining….and a place to enter any exercise you do and amount of time you did it, which tells you how many calories you burned doing that exercise for that amount of time, and adds them back to you daily calorie limit. It has foods and exercises to choose from with calories counted for you, or if not listed you can add it as a customized food or exercise and enter the calorie info or exercise info yourself.

        I needed something that would help me know how many calories I needed to eat daily, or burn in order to stay under that amount daily, in order to lose weight …something that would help me to be accountable, to remember what I had eaten and how many calories I had consumed (or I had burned) and would keep track and let me know how many calories I had left for each day, etc…. It works for me, lol. So far I’ve lost 50 lbs over 7 months, on it …and only have a few more pounds to go to reach my pre-baby weight goal…

        Oh…It gives bages as you progress, also, for motivation……and it works with fitbit. I got a fitbit tracker a couple months ago, to track calories and distance when walking, and time dancercising…..and fitbit has a good website for weight loss, too, and also has an app…. It’s free if you get the fitbit, I think…?? But I still use loseit more than fitbit, even tho info listed at either site uploads to both… there are few extras on the fitbit site/app that loseit free didnt have, but I think the paid version does….and my fitbit tracker can upload wirelessly to both lose it and fitbit when I get close to my computer.. But on days I didn’t get online, I will manually add my calories burned and other info, from the fitbit itself, along with my foods and any other exercises.

        Anyway, saw this and liked some of the features of the ones above, like the meals customized, that loseit doesn’t have…. But wanted to let you know that loseit is a good free one, that you can upgrade for more options if you want to pay.
