My 4 Year Old Daughter’s Christmas Wish List
My daughter is almost four and she is SO excited about Christmas! It’s intoxicating how much fun she finds it all! Squeeling with glee at Christmas lights, excited that each and every store we go into is getting ready for Christmas. She is so excited about all the decorations, traditions and more!
Since we go shopping so often, we have taught her that she’s not allowed to ask for things, unless we tell her in advance that she can. (She can comment on how fun a toy looks, etc, she just can’t ask for it.) It brings a lot of peace at Christmas time, but also doesn’t give us much insite into what she wants for Christmas. When we sat down with her and asked her what she wanted for Christmas she wanted almost everything (hahaha what three year old doesn’t)!! She narrowed it down to about 10 of her favorites and here is her list!
She is totally in love with Brave the movie, and was really excited to find the three bears/brothers and Merida. She was excited to be able to play with them, I was excited that as a Barbie type figure, she was modestly dressed, and didn’t have “street walker” shoes. 🙂 She’s a perfect first Barbie for my daughter!
The two items that surpriesed me the most were the Drum Set and Melissa and Doug Piano! She seemed really excited about both of them! Looks like it might be time to get her involved with some music lessons! For now, these are gifts that will foster creativity and be fun (however, the drum set WILL come with ear plugs!)
The ALEX Toys – Early Learning My Giant Busy Box -Little Hands was a surprise to me! At $27, that works out to $1.69 per craft, which is a pretty great deal in my mind! It comes with all the supplies, instructions, and you can even buy more supplies and do the projects again and again! Plus it provides for some great Mommy/Bee time, with no planning required! Just pull a craft out of the box and start making memories. 🙂
Bee has seen Cathy’s kids playing with these plasma cars, and as soon as she saw it, she said she wanted it! Right now the Red Plasma Car is on sale for only $39.99 (a lot of the other Plasma Car colors are on sale too!)
Bee has some friends with American Girl Dolls, but at $110 there is just no way! These Madame Alexander dolls are MUCH more reasonably priced starting around $40, and there are TONS of accessories!
My munchkin is so in love with baking right now, and this Doll Sized Baking Set is adorable!!
She is also ALL about being outdoors playing, and this scooter will be great for days where it’s to cold, wet, etc to go out side and play!
This bunk bed is perfect, so she doesn’t have to get rid of her other favorite dolls! We can welcome the new one to the family, and still have room for Maggie (her current favorite!)
She was super excited when she saw the leap pads and other Tablet type accessories… so while she wants a Doc McStuffins LeapPad 2, we think a Kindle Fire Tablet will be kid friendly enough for her, and will grow with her as she gets older, so we can buy it once, and it shoud last until she’s much older, instead of just a year or two! Plus last year there were a bunch of sales on them, and while we’ve seen a couple, I’m hopeful there is still a big Kindle Discount Code coming!
