Money Saving Tips: Save Your Change

Are you looking for some simple ideas to save money? We have simple solutions that you can easily apply to your lifestyle to save money!

One thing that I have done to make money saving fun is getting a little piggy bank (or in my case “doggie bank”).  Whenever I have spare change, usually coins, I put it in the dog.  When it gets heavy and full, it’s fun to see how much you have saved up!

Sometimes I hide bigger bills inside my little porcelain friend so that when I finally crack him open, I’ll have a significant amount of money.  He’s getting pretty heavy, so I think I’ll be opening him up soon.

How much do you think I’ll find when I dump him out?

I’ll be sure to post about it when the money comes pouring out! I can’t wait!

my bank also offers this type of service everytime i use my debit card they take the change that would round the transaction up to nearest dollar and put it in my savings account. its crazy how much money accumulates every month with this service. i also always make sure when i pump gas with my debit to go up a couple cents past the dollar so that extra change can be added to my savings too 🙂
