I have a perfect, gorgeous midcentury dresser, slightly less than perfect but very functional dining table, and about 10-yr-old heavy but well-functioning TV that I got from the free section of Seattle craigslist. The furniture items were both from people who were moving and were just DONE trying to sell or move their crap, and the TV – not sure why they were getting rid of it but it was a VERY fancy house so probably they can just afford to get new gear when they want it.

    • that’s awesome. Yes, I’ve found that some people just don’t want to deal with the “hassle” of selling their things so they put up for free and that’s great for us bargain hunters!
