Melanie’s Christmas Wish List
Every year we share our Wish Lists with you to give you ideas of gifts that women in your life might like or to inspire you to add something to your own wish list.
I love this time of year! Family, food, and shopping! I am often too busy thinking of gift ideas for other people to come up with my own wish list. Once I get the juices flowing, I come up with a few things though, even if they are mostly kitchen-related.
- Ideal for rolling out dough
- Stain-proof and stick-resistant
- Rolls up or lies flat for storage
- 23.25″ x 15.25″
A girl can dream, right? I hear that these robot vacuums actually work pretty well now days. I would go for the Neato Botvac 70e and up or XV series, or iRobot Roomba 770 model and up .
Old Stone Oven Baking Stone $41.99
I have heard great things about this particular pizza stone, so this is the one that I want.
- Made in the USA
- Pizza stone duplicates crispy pizzeria-style crust
- Firebrick construction offers superior heat retention and distribution
- Flat surface releases pizza or bread quickly and easily
- Durable texture resists cracking caused by high temperatures
- 2000 recipes from 20 years of America’s most trusted cooking magazine!
This is another one of those “A girl can dream” items. I am pretty sure it isn’t going to happen this year, but maybe someday!
I took a look at Consumer Reports to help me decide which heavy duty blender I want the most. Only the latest and greatest for me! 😉 Just kidding, but I do value quality quite a bit and it better be amazing if I’m paying that much. I’m sure I would be happy with either a Vitamix or a Blendtec, whichever is the best deal when the time comes.
I might not be able to wait until Christmas for this one! I wish would’ve bought it last week while it was in stock on Amazon. Most 9×13 pans are not safe under a broiler. This one is and looks pretty too!
- Made from glazed fine white porcelain
- Pan measures 13 by 9 Inch; features handles on both ends
- Oven, broiler and microwave safe
- Easy cleanup, dishwasher safe
An Amazon gift card always comes in handy! Write a heart-felt, sincere note of gratitude and love to stick in there with the gift card and I call that a great gift!
While I’m wishing, I might as well throw a Bosch mixer on the list. Making multiple loaves of bread would be a breeze! (Yes, I am still making this whole wheat sandwich bread regularly.) My poor KitchenAid Pro. I still appreciate it, but it starts smoking when kneading 3 loaves of bread for longer than 5-10 minutes.
And I would like some new bar stools soon too. Thanks. These ones from Ikea could look very cool in my kitchen.
I like surprise gifts every now and then, especially if it really is something that would be useful or fun for me.
One year I unwrapped this from my husband. He was laughing his head off, but I refused to open the box because I wanted to be sure he could return it. Anyway, turns out it was just a prank box and items that I really wanted were inside. It was really hilarious! (Plus, he got it all on video so we can look back at it and laugh even more.) There are several of these funny prank boxes that you can order if you are in the mood for a practical and harmless joke.
