Cooking brisket in the oven is a time consuming process, but I promise it is also a very rewarding one!There are a lot of known ways to cook a brisket and here are some great recipes for you!

1. Melt in Your Mouth Brisket

Melt in Your Mouth Brisket

Ingredients:

7-8 pounds of brisket
1 bottle of ketchup
1½ cups of dry red wine
1½ cups water
1.5 tbsp chicken base
¼ cup dehydrated onion flakes
6 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
2 onions, roughly chopped
6 large carrots, cut into large chunks
Salt and pepper to taste

Jalapeño Brisket Recipe Delicious Party Food

Ingredients:

5-6 lb. Brisket, fat trimmed
1 Bottle of Beer, preferably dark
1 Jar of Apricot Preserves, 12.75 oz
2 Tablespoons of Jalapeño Tabasco
1 Large onion, sliced
1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1-2 tablespoons of Parsley, chopped

3. Smok’n Good Texas Brisket

Smok’n Good Texas Brisket

Ingredients:

1 10lb brisket (A brisket has two pieces a “point” and a “flat” I like to cook them together)
1 lb of Kosher salt (don’t worry you won’t use it all)
1/2 cup ground Pepper
1/3 cup granulated garlic
1 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1 cup Brown sugar
2 tbls dry mustard
1 tbls red pepper flakes
2 cups water

1 bottle (24 Ounce) Ketchup Or Chili Sauce (make Sure It’s Kosher)
1 package Onion Soup Mix (make Sure It’s Kosher)

5. Beef Brisket Pot Roast

Beef Brisket Pot Roast

Ingredients:

4-5 pound beef brisket
Salt
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
3 large onions, sliced
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 sprig thyme
1 sprig rosemary
3-4 bay leaves
2 cups of beef stock
2-3 large carrots, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 Tbsp mustard (optional)

6. Smoked Brisket

1 (4- to 6-pound) brisket, untrimmed, with a thick sheath of fat
5 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
4 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon ancho chile powder
1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
Brisket Sugar Shake (recipe follows) for serving
