Kids Eat Free at Chili’s

Kids eat FREE at Chili’s TODAY Only!

So I’ve been telling you about these kids eat free days at Chili’s for awhile now, but I want to tell you about my fabuless bill from last week when I took my 2 kiddos to lunch:

1 Classic Turkey Toasted Lunch Combo (included sandwich, fries & soup): $6
1 water: FREE
2 kids meals plus 2 kids drinks: FREE
Final price: $6 (plus tax, plus tip-I always tip off the pre-discounted total)

Now that’s a cheap lunch!!

They have many $6, $7 and $8 lunch combos to choose from, and they also have an express lunch for around $6 that comes with chips & salsa for everyone to share! I think we’ll be taking advantage of this promo more often!

The fine print:

Kids 12 and under.
2 free kid’s meals per adult entree purchased.
Not valid with any other offer or discount.
Valid Tuesday, June 21st only.

    Thanks Amber. We love Chili’s.

I thought I would also mention that Applebee’s is moving their “Kids Eat Free” night from Wednesdays to Tuesdays, starting today, 5/24. This change was posted at the State/Glenwood Applebees in Boise, but I don’t know if it applies to all Applebees locations or jus this one. For those who may not know, you do not need a coupon there; you just need to buy a kids drink for $.99 and you can get their meal for free.

The Glenwood/State location also hosts a kids craft, supervised by a very nice lady. Nice way to keep the kids occupied while waiting for their meal to be served.

i just wanted to say THANK YOU for tipping off of the pre-discounted total. i waited tables for 14 years and really appreciate this. there are so many people out there that just dont understand how important tips are to servers, they are our income! we dont get an “hourly pay”, only enough to cover taxes and we always owe money to the IRS at the end of the year. (getting a paycheck at the end of the week with a stamp on it that says “this is not a check” can be very depressing.) the irs ESTIMATES how much tips we SHOULD be making, and then taxes us on that number…. even if we didnt come anywhere near that amount. its extremely unfair.

however congressman ron paul is trying to pass a bill called the “tax free tips act of 2011.” this would help out so many hard working, underpaid people. 🙂
