KidKraft Kitchen Review and Giveaway

kidkraft sweet treats pastel kitchen play set and my friendship bracelet maker review and giveaway from costco

Let me tell ya, I love shopping at Costco. There is one close to where I live, so I am there probably once every other week. I just think it is so fun to browse the aisles and check out the latest and greatest! All of my kids fit in the big carts, there are fun things for us to look at, and there are some really great deals on groceries, clothing, and toys! Plus, we can get a super inexpensive dinner for the whole fam in the Costco food court, if we so desire, which we often do. I actually just recently bought a new washer and dryer from and it is a great place to print photos too.

My favorite is when Costco has all of the Christmas things and toys out during this time of year! There are some awesome toy deals! You can follow Costco on Facebook. And Costco is doing Pinterest now too – see what Costco is pinning!

KidKraft Sweet Treats Pastel Play Kitchen Set

KidKraft kitchens are awesome! First of all, they are very cute! Secondly, the kitchens are mostly made of wood, so they are high quality and will last for quite a long time. Some KidKraft items have already sold out on, including this pastel kitchen, but there are still some KidKraft Dollhouses, a kitchen, playset, and some kitchen accessories available! Or you can check if your local Costco still has some in stock.

My little 3-year-old girl is loving this play kitchen! (I bought her jeans at Costco too, by the way. 😉 ) Actually, my boys really like the kitchen too. They were all playing house together with it the other day. Very cute. It is nice that this kitchen is big enough for more than one child to play with it at one time. 🙂

The KidKraft Sweet Treats Pastel Kitchen Play Set has a lot of nice features: a microwave with a door that opens and closes, stove area with four elevated burners, a play phone with a holder, a wooden spatula and kitchen spoon, and a little pot holder. The oven door opens and closes and there is an included shelf/rack for inside. You can twist and turn the stove/oven knobs too. The washing machine and refrigerator door also open and close, including the washing machine portal door.

I like the way the kitchen looks in our play area – it is definitely easy on the eyes. We had a cheap plastic kitchen play set before and it was not nearly as attractive. The plastic one was also a lot smaller and would fall over easily. The KidKraft kitchens are solid!

Just as a little warning – don’t wait until the last hour to assemble the kitchen, if possible. The instructions are actually pretty simple and nice. Each piece is numbered with a little sticker and it all corresponds with the pictures in the directions. But there are a lot of pieces, so it does take some time to put it all together. Worth it though!

my friendship bracelet maker with app and instructions

My Friendship Bracelet Maker

This is a really fun bracelet maker set, especially for girls age 6 and up. My nieces were so excited to come over and check it out as soon as they heard I got it.

I love that it includes everything you need to make the bracelets – pre-cut thread, beads, instructions – and it all stores nicely in the tray below. The instructions are great, but even better…you can get the free app that SHOWS you how to do whichever bracelet you want to make! Walks you right through it.

I’m one of those people that learns better if I see how to do it first, so I think this is the best part about the My Friendship Bracelet Maker. The app includes lots of videos to show how to do basic skills and a variety of patterns. I like that you can choose the patterns by skill level on the app too – we definitely started with the beginner level!

Any crafty girl will love it! She will have so much fun making bracelets for all of her friends!

The KidKraft kitchen and bracelet maker are already sold out at my Costco and online! BUT we were able to snag one of each and save them for one lucky reader! If you are wanting to grab either of these as gifts, check your local Costco asap!
