Jessica’s Wish List

1.) Magic Bullet 25 piece Deluxe Set

I love to make smoothies and protein shakes. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. I typically use my full size glass blender but it’s a pain to clean each and every time! This set says it’s dishwasher safe, easy to clean and comes with convenient “to go” cups. For the sake of time and a busy schedule, I’m sold!

2.) 500 Heart-Healthy Slow Cooker Recipes

I have discovered the awesomeness of a slow cooker! It’s quick, easy and frugal! As an added bonus, it makes the house smell wonderful and I don’t have to scurry around trying to make dinner at 5 pm. This cookbook has a whopping 500 heart healthy recipes!

3.) Betty Crocker Big Book of Cupcakes

When I’m not busy clipping coupons, chasing kids, or hitting up my local Walmart, you might just find me in the kitchen covered in flour and frosting. I heart cupcakes! I love to try new flavors and get creative. I can’t wait to get my hands on a boatload of new recipes and since I’ll be eating 500 healthy slow cooker meals, I think I can justify a few cupcakes! 😀

4.) HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer

My computer is a bit of a dinosaur and he know’s how much I LOVE printing coupons so my sweet husband just bought me a brand new laptop as an early Christmas present! It’s wonderful! Now I just need a wireless printer to go along with it. I’ve never owned anything but an HP and it’s worked great. I think the ink is reasonably priced and the photo counter at Walgreen’s never has trouble refilling my cartridges. I’d like another HP but I’m open to trying something new if there’s a better product out there.

What do you recommend? Stick with what works, or try something new?

  • Murray

I have the Magic Bullet and it isn’t worth your time. Get a good blender or one of those Ninja things I see on TV.

I wish the Bullet worked as well as they say, but it takes too long and smells like it’s burning up when you finally get things chopped/mixed.

I have a Magic bullet and Murray is right it does not work anywhere near as well as they say it will. Definitely not worth the cost typically found. Watch for Macy’s clearance after the Holidays. I found mine for less than $20. Makes the sting of ice chunks not so hard to swallow(chew) 🙂

  • Way go go hubs – helping Jessica catch up with the rest of the world with her technology! Ha ha! 😀

  • Sarah G

You don’t want an inkjet printer – it will go through ink like crazy printing out tons of coupons and then the ink gets expensive to replace. You can get a black and white wireless laser printer for less than that one you linked and toner lasts much longer! 🙂

Heart Healthy Cookbook followed by a Cupcake Cookbook. Seriously funny! I use my slow cooker at least twice a week. I love it!
