Here are your insert lists for March 28th!

as always, we thank fab fruGAL Sophie for all the work she puts in to these!  You can find all the past lists if you click on “Learn to be a fruGAL” on our menu bar, then go to “Get Organized” and then “Idaho Insert Lists” will pop out to the right.

If you’re wondering why we go through the work of publishing these lists, it is because we are using the fab fruGAL combo organizing method!  You can read all about it here, or view our entire organization series here!

On a side note, again, the Smart Source insert in The Idaho Statesman had extra coupons that all the other papers in Idaho did NOT get.  🙁  This is the third instance in the last 4 weeks that this has happened).

Here is a list of the extra coupons found in The Idaho Statesman.

If you are feeling frustrated that you are missing out on some coupons (seem to always be General Mills Coupons), then maybe it is time to change to the Idaho Statesman subscription! You can get as little as 5 Sunday Papers on Sunday… and if you want more, it is an additional $.50 per paper. Not only will you get multiple copies of the Sunday paper, you’ll also get one copy of the daily paper (nice to have when there are DOUBLES in the Wednesday ad, or when Fred Meyer puts valuable coupons in the Thursday paper). If you want to learn more about the Fabulessly Frugal Idaho Statesman Newspaper deal, you can RIGHT HERE!  Be sure to tell them Fabulessly Frugal sent you (yes, we get a kickback when you mention our name – just one of the easy ways you can help support our site! Thanks!!)

    As always much appreciated!

  • Darnet! I just signed up at Fred Meyer the other day. I sure would have signed up via you to support my favorite gals! So sorry.

If you do call them and the you get the “Lady” (I can’t remember her name) see if you can speak with someone else. I called there twice. Once to originally subscribe and then to try to upgrade to the Fab deal. The first time she thought she might have to charge me more because I was “all the way out in Caldwell” I had to explain that Caldwell was in Canyon County. (she was surprised) The Second time I called I got her again and after telling her my name she proceeded to call me “Little Susie.” And then she told me that I couldn’t upgrade to the Fab deal (because I was already getting a discounted paper…$1a week for one Sunday Paper) BUT, I Could however upgrade to their “Couponer’s Deal” (?) which is only 4 papers. And there was no way to get a weekly paper….
I like that they have more coupons and that is the only reason I subscribe to them. If I decide to continue after my subscription ends in a few months I am going to ask to speak to someone else. Maybe they might be more knowledgeable.
