This is a great shopping trip, but I don’t appreciate it when you say you only paid $7.20, when you really spent over $20 out of your wallet. Just because you have so much left in RR doesn’t mean you still have money in your pocket – sometimes you end up having to use those RR for things you didn’t need, but you could have used the cash for things you did need; like produce. I have a hard time with that.

    • I’m sorry you feel that way… I shop at Walgreens every week, so they get used up. I don’t tell you how I use my RR from last week (or my Target gift cards, and Mel doesn’t share how she uses her ups+), because it’s possible you didn’t get them, so we focus on having transactions you can actually do. My OOP was actually less than $21.80, because I used my RR’s from last week. With all the super FAB deals at Walgreens, it’s easy to use them up.

Is the heat getting to some people?? Such nasty, petty comments lately.

Keep up the good work,Becky! You will never please eveyone. That’s just the way life is.

  • Daphnie

Wow, harsh. Even though she might have paid 20$ out of pocket she still saved a bunch of money by using coupons which I’m sure will go a long way for buying some produce. Becky, I always like reading about your shopping trips and appreciate your posts! Keep it up! 🙂

When you seperate transactions do you line up all the stuff and just pay per transaction or do you have to leave the register get the stuff and come back. Will they allow you to have multiple transactions to save on these with the RR? Also do I need to sign up for something to get the RR? I have never done it but am interested.

    • Stephanie

You don’t have to sign up for anything to get a RR. You just have to buy the correct item and it will pop out of the machine.

    • No sign up required. I grab everything, and then check out. But, if there is anyone in line behind me I go to the back of the line. Sometimes it takes a while, but wags RR are limit one per transaction.

      • Susan

When you say “wags RR are limit one per transactions,” do you mean that you will only receive one per transaction or you can only redeem one per transaction? I’ve always thought that you could receive one per transaction per manufacturer, and that you could redeem one mfg coupon (including RR’s) per item. Has this changed?

        • DeAnna

No it hasn’t changed. I think she was just meaning you can’t buy 2 Lanacane sprays and hope to get 2 $6 RR. You would need to do 2 separate transactions. :O)

  • Aurora

I cannot find the Carmex coupon. Is it still available?

  • Nichole

I just wanted to let you know, the Super Savers will not be available for much longer. Soon Walgreens will make you sign up for a free card (like CVS, Jewel, Petsmart, etc…) to start getting those Super Saver discounts! Just a heads up!

On a side note, I love your website and am always looking for deals! Thank you for all your hard work that saves us so much money!
