The openings always go quickly, so if you’re interested I’d head over right away!

If you have been accepted you will receive an email. You might not receive your scanner for awhile, even if you are accepted today.

What is Nielsen Home Scan? A National Consumer Panel where you as a member will be provided with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases.

Then, once a week, you’ll send in your purchase information. It’s as easy as that!

What’s in it for you? You’ll earn gift points that are redeemable for name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more! Plus, you’ll be making your opinions count! Our readers have reported they have traded in their points earned for $25 gift cards, vacuums and coffee makers.

Head on over to sign up HERE. Let us know if you’re accepted!

*NOTE* Many FAB readers LOVE this program. That is why we continue to post about it. We have also heard from a few readers who have felt it was too much work. If you get accepted, keep us posted on how you like it & what you’re earning!

Hi All! I wanted to say first I love your site and thank you for all that you girls do!!! <3 I also wanted to give a little review of this program because the info they give on the website doesn't give many details. I was accepted about a month ago, and have just sent my scanner back! Lol. This program is great for those who have the time/dedication required, but I am a full time student who likes to shop/coupon between homework and classes, and I quickly realized this wasn't the deal for me. A representative called when I was accepted, and went over a verbal agreement with me to have the scanner shipped. (It is a $250 fine if the scanner or cords are harmed in any way, and must be shipped back for repairs) The scanner arrived with lots of instructions and a DVD, and cord to hook to the comp to transmit. You enter the store you shopped at, and are asked to scan everything you buy, including groceries, gas, convenience store purchases, produce, and baby goods. You scan the barcode (copy down barcode if on a package that wont scan), enter the origional price, quantity, if there were coupons used, if there was a store sale, if the item was clearanced, amount of coupon, and total amount of the shopping trip. You do this for each item you have purchased. At the end of the week, on Saturday you plug your nifty scanner (it was pretty cool to scan the barcodes :op) into the computer and transmit your weekly shopping trips. Each week you get 150 points for transmitting, this amount goes up by 100 points every six months. This is how you are able to redeem points for gifts and things. The website contains a link to their "store." Most of the items are cool, portable vacuum cleaners, accessories for electronics and things, but they are mostly 100,000 points, which would take a long time to redeem. I decided this wasn't quite the deal for me, and it is free to ship the scanner back via FedEx. I hope this info was helpful to some, and if you are into the program it is cool! This was only my opinion on my experience, Thanks everybody <3

I find it uncomfortable for me, if not anyone else, to do a program like this. This is letting a company(maybe even the government) in on what you do, buy, visit, ect….. I and my family should be the only ones that know what I do and buy. Do the program if you want, it may be for you……but I feel uncomfortable doing something like this and wanted to voice my personal opinion in case others are scared to do likewise. I still love ya Fab Gals!!!
