Halloween Ghost Blow Pops
Everyone loves to dress up for Halloween, even the candy!! These Ghost Blow Pops are a super fun and easy way to make your Halloween Candy just a little bit more fun! They are super easy to make, and the kids love them! And, as an added bonus you won’t have kids picking out their favorites. It’s a surprise in every Ghost!
Start by cutting your 10 pipe cleaners into 2 inch long sticks. I found the measuring of each one time consuming, so I cut one piece and used it to measure my other ones, cutting 5 at a time.
Then cut your fabric into 6 inch squares. You need 52 squares. It’s okay if your squares aren’t perfectly cut. No one is going to notice. But, if you are like my quilt making friends, and you need them to be straight, you can use this Fiskars Rotary Cutting Set. It’s a favorite of my quilt makers, and excellent for cutting fabric!
To make your Ghosts, fold the fabric in half over the Blow Pop or Tootsie Pop, then fold the sides down, and use the pipe cleaner to attach the fabric to the stem of the Blow Pop. I twist the pipe cleaner like the twisty ties on the bread bags. It’s easy, but they are tight, so if you have sensitive fingers, a pair of plyers might be helpful. My fingers started hurting on about sucker number 45 🙂
You can add eyes with a permanent marker or use googly eyes to make them even more fun!
