Cool! And I call myself a “scrapbooker” so I think you’re fine 🙂

I think “scrapbooker” is a totally fine term. Just like “couponer.” I mean, what else do you call people who scrapbook or use coupons?

If you really want to scrapbook inexpensively, go digital! There are tons of free digital papers and embellishments out there for the taking. And kits are cheap! You can buy a nice coordinated kit with everything you need for an entire album for $5-$6 bucks.

I went digital several years ago and spend a small fraction of what I used to spend back in my paper-scrapping days. And there are so many other benefits! You can use digital images over and over — no need to buy a piece of paper for every page you scrap. If you cut a paper the wrong size, simply click “undo.” And there is no mess — just turn off your computer. It’s easy to take your projects along with you and not have to lug a suitcase full of supplies. I love love love it!

You’d need to make an initial investment in software (Photoshop Elements or something else), but after that, it’s so cheap. Besides software, the only other significant expense is printing, but as we know, there are lots of deals on photo books. And you can always find sales on printing services (for printing individual pages as opposed to books).
