I did lots of shopping this week. I stopped by Fred Meyer a few times when I was out to get the cheese for $2.99!  I also did double coupons at Albertsons last week and made a trip to WinCo to buy peppers to make and can salsa using my garden tomatoes. So I am over budget!!!! Eeek. I do not feel bad because I have been under budget the last 5 months!

My favorite coupon deal from my trip to WinCo:

Final Price: $0.33

The salsa I canned with my garden tomatoes and some peppers from WinCo! Thanks to my friend Stephanie.

Groceries I bought at Fred Meyer including cheese $2.99 and the sweet juicy peaches for .88/lb!

Monica, I’m over budget too. I saved money by doing so, and while it might throw me over for the year by the time the end of the year comes, that’s okay. I ordered 2 cases of Zaycon chicken this month, got in on Albertson’s case lot sale, scoring their tuna for .43/can and a case of brown sugar for 1.00/2lb bag, and picked up 2 50lb bags of flour at our local flour mill for $15/bag. Long term savings, but big spending at the moment. I’m grateful that I have the funds to do this. I also plan to try to stick to my budget, or at least keep trying to save.
