Just bought 20. Let me know when there is a deal!

These coupons say DO NOT DOUBLE. I don’t understand how these are a great deal if they don’t double.

    Thanks,
    Kristine

    • Albertsons NW will double a coupon that says do not double.

Albertson’s seems like a very generous, benevolent place.

        • Susan

I wouldn’t consider Albertsons to be generous or benevolent at all. Albertsons regular prices are very high. They have good promos though, and I really like their gas rewards.

The fabs have often touted their customer service, but personally, while I have had some great experiences at Albertsons, I have also had my worst experiences with customer service there vs. other stores. I think it really depends on the individual cashier or customer service person, even sometimes the store manager, rather than the store itself.

        Becky,

Thanks for the reply. : )

Recently I had a checker give me this explanation. Some areas double or triple coupons by allowing you to use multiple manufacturer coupons per purchase (item) If a manufacturer doesn’t want to participate they put “do not double” on their coupons. My region (SW WA) doesn’t offer this program so that language does not apply to how we use these coupons. Albertson’s offers to “double” our manufacturer coupons by matching the value with a store coupon they provide “Twice the Value”. I can’t verify this is totally accurate but made sense to me.

So when a sale comes then you would call in an order for the tuna, or would you just take a chance on the stock on hand? Any suggestions for calling in an order, I have had nothing but bad luck with it.

Does anyone know if the Albertsons Stores in Colorado Double Coupons ?

I’ve never tried double coupons at Albertsons before. : )

    Thanks,
    Kristine

    • Monica

I do not think the CO store doubles. I do not believe they are part of the Inter-mountain NW Stores. Do you have other stores that double in your area?

  • The only store that doubles in KMart. Does anyone know if they well double???

  • Jody

The Albertsons in Colorado are LLCs and are different than the Alb NW posted about on here. They don’t put out doubler coupons, but from time to time will advertise in their ad that they are doubling, tripling or quadrupling coupons for the week, up to .50. Most stores limit it to 5 ‘like’ coupons and some won’t double internet coupons. It’s best to call the store you want to go to ahead of time and see what their individual policy is, since they all seem to differ. Hope that helps!

so glad for these, I really am getting low on tuna. Hope for a good stock up deal soon….

  • janet

What date and what insert were these in originally? Thank you.

I live in Oregon and get the Sunday Early Edition. The redplum has a $1/1 coupon for any starkist pouch! Just so you all know in case your paper will have the same….makes for an even better deal without worry about doubling…this coupon has no doubling restrictions either… 🙂

For those who don’t have lots of doublers or just prefer not to mess with them, I’d suggest using this coupon at Walmart or Winco. Both stores will offer these tuna pouches for under a dollar pretty regularly. For the past several years, I have been able to stock up on tuna by combining coupons with sales, and the most I’ve paid is like $.25/pouch.

Albertsons regular price is like $2.19. Yes, they occasionally will have them on sale for $1, but that may or mmay not align with the days that doublers are available. Plus, whenever an item is free with doublers at Albertsons, they will be out of stock within minutes. You can get a great price at Walmart or Winco without the hassle of doublers, multiple transactions, or the “free with doublers = empty shelves” at Albertsons.
