FREE Movies for 30 Days!

Are you doing the Netflix thing yet?

NO you say?  Why in the heck not!??!?!

  1. You pay a flat monthly fee. It’s easy to budget because you NEVER pay late fee’s!  Return the movies ASAP and get more, OR keep a movie for as long as you want!  You’ll still be charged a flat monthly fee!
  2. Got a Wii, PS3, XBOX, PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone and the rest of the approved devices below?  You can watch UNLIMITED streaming video for as low as $7.99 a month!
  3. There are NO hidden fees… you can cancel anytime you want!
  4. You can control the content. We have streaming video through the wii. I don’t want my little ones browsing through a bunch of junk.  You can easily set up controls to limit what items appear when browsing (by ratings).  You can also set up controls so any movie above a certain rating can only be accessed by password.  AND I can view the “watch instantly” history, as well as the DVD history.  Call me a control freak if you want, but I want to know what content is on the TV!
  5. You get your DVD’s…. FAST! Netflix has over 100 shipping points through out the US.  If we return our DVD in Monday’s mail, Netflix will receive it Tuesday, and then put the next movie in our Que out in the mail.  We get it on Wednesday.  It’s awesome!
  6. Massive selection! You won’t find this selection at redbox!  They have thousands of movies… new releases, classics, “oldies” (I consider the first Karate Kid or Back to the Future “oldies”).   They also have thousands of movies and TV shows available to watch instantly too (really… it’s instant!  No waiting for the show to download!)

Movies and TV Shows we’ve watched via Netflix watch instantly in 2011:

  • Dinosaur Train
  • Leap Frog Learning
  • Wonder Pets
  • Backyardigans
  • Wizards of Waverly Place
  • iCarly
  • The Bourne Identity
  • Free Willy 4 (ha ha)
  • The Office
  • Up
  • Psych
  • Thomas & Friends

More good ones I’m seeing that I’d love to sit and watch if I had 2 days of nothing to do:

The Proposal, Prince of Persia, The Last Song, When in Rome, Harry and the Hendersons (oldie!), The Money Pit (another oldie!),  Pay It Forward, Return to Me, Sleepless in Seattle, Big, 24 (all seasons).

What are you wating for?  Go get your free 30 day trial to Netflix!

We have had Netflix for quite a while now, and we LOVE it!!! Just last week, we changed it to getting one movie at a time in the mail AND unlimited access through our Wii, and now we LOVE IT EVEN MORE!!! My family and I have family movie nights now, AND my husband and I can catch up on our TV series’ , it’s great, so if you are thinking about it, DEFINATELY give it a try!!!

How do you set up the parental controls? I didn’t know you could do this.

I am doing the monthly trial right now and totally LOVE it. I didn’t think it would be worth it, but we are enjoying all the instant streaming media, PLUS what we get in the mail. I normally spend close to $10 a month just on redbox and late fees at the library, so I’m really enjoying it and planning to keep it going.

Thanks so much for posting about Netlix! I do a weekly Christian Family radio spot and I just did a big push for Netflix due to its Family Friendly-ness! You aren’t a control freak btw. Just a good Mama =)

We’re using Netflix now throught the Wii and my kids love it. Hey, if you use Swagbucks, they are currently offering 1000 points for NEW customers for trying it for 30 days. It takes 450 points to get a $5 giftcard to Amazon, so get paid $10 to try Netflix. Now that’s a fabuLESS deal!
