Hot diggity! Combine this with some Swag Bucks $5 gift cards = Awesomeness 😀

I cant see anywhere on amazons site how to cancel this- can you tell me where you found instructions?

    • Cathy

(TIP: After you sign up, go to your account and click on “Manage Prime Membership”. In here you’ll see an “upgrade automatically” button – click on this, then click on the “do not upgrade” button, and then the click on the “turn off auto-upgrade” button. Now you don’t have to worry about forgetting to cancel and end up paying the $79.00 membership fee!)

      • Savvymama

Sorry, having trouble finding the upgrade automatically button.

        • Andrea

cathy..Where is the UP GRADE AUTOMATICALLY button? I am at the Manage Prime Membership screen but don’t see it!

          • Brynna

I have the AM Prime right now too and do not show a “Do not upgrade” button. I’ve done many Prime trials before and so far my account does not show the normal Prime stuff. Usually it also says, in green, the day my Prime membership will be upgraded.

Perhaps Amazon is having issues? I know I signed up minutes after the released the Amazon Mom info and they didn’t have the Prime feature working until early yesterday morning…

Also, I wonder if it has anything to do with the *possibility* of Amazon Mom members extending their Prime memberships with purchases…because that information would always be changing. Still, you’d think they’d make the “do not upgrade” option available to people at this point just in case.

Do you know how long this is good for? I’d like to wait a week or two to get closer to christmas time.

    • Amber

They didn’t give us an exact date, but I suspect it will go through September. Not 100% sure, so it might be a risk to wait. You have at least a week though.

    • Brynna

I signed up last night and mine is good until Dec. 8th. BUT, they say that each time you purchase $25+ of items from the Baby store in a single transaction, you get an ADDITIONAL month of Amazon Prime. So if you have any baby stuff to get, you can basically extend your Prime membership for who knows how long (from the terms, they don’t give a limit).

      • Jenn

REALLY!? That is awesome! I love Amazon!!! I wonder if pull-ups or goodnights count? My baby is 3!

      • Cheryl_hiccups

Here’s a snippet from the terms for extending the membership with purchases:

        Amazon Mom

When you joined Amazon Mom, you received 3 months of FREE Two-Day Shipping with Amazon Prime. For each $25 you spend on products in the Baby Store within a single order, we’ll grant you an additional month of Amazon Prime shipping benefits. You can earn up to one year from the date you joined Amazon Mom. Look for this yellow stripe at the top of the page to confirm that your product is in the Baby store and will help you earn additional free shipping.

        • Brynna

Ah, okay I guess they did give a limit! I swear I didn’t see that when I read it the night it came out!

          • Cheryl_hiccups

Yeah, I didn’t notice that when I signed up either. I found it by going to the product page for a diaper and there was a yellow bar going across the page near the top that said, ” Amazon Mom: Purchase this and other baby items to extend your Amazon Prime Free Shipping benefits. Learn more” and clicking on the “Learn more” bit.

Thanks for this info! I just signed up, and used a 20% off diapers I still had from my Parenting Magazine. I got 100 diapers for just over $12!!
