Did you also know that there are libraries lending eBooks out?  Ask your librarian.  Pretty cool, hu!  I guess you never have to worry about turning a book in late!  (Ask for Ann if you are going to the Ada Community Library)

FWIW I have a Nook (the Barnes & Noble e-reader) and they seem to have a blog where they offer one or more books free for download each week. It’s usually the first book by authors who have several out, and I’ve discovered some authors I’d like to read more of by downloading the free books.

So how does the library e-book thing work? Can you give me a quick run down? I don’t have a kindle, but my hubby and I have the free Kindle app for Droids, which is great…it turns our smartphones into a kindle!

I got a Kindle for Christmas, and as I understand it, it is one of the only e-readers that isn’t capable of checking out and downloading library e-books (bummer). But I don’t know about the kindle app for iphones, etc.–that may work for library books, anyone know?
