Just an FYI, for the Oregon paper (Portland) it is $150 for free, then $100 for 0.49, then $50 for 0.69.

Quick question as I’m new to couponing, is the $150 before or after fredmeyer in ad and manufacturer coupons are used?

This is actually the case in all of Oregon and Washington, as far as I can tell. I believe that the turkey offer mentioned in this matchup ONLY applies in the Boise area, which for some reason runs slightly better sales than the rest of Fred Meyer from time to time.

As far as the spend, I’m reasonably certain (although not 100% positive) that the $150 is AFTER in-ad coupons but BEFORE manufacturer coupons.

The turkey coupon is scanned AFTER all coupons and employee discounts. The only thing scanned after the turley coupon is a Fred Meyer rebate.

I just got back from my FM thanksgiving trip. It was $150 after ALL coupons. We barely made it at $152.

I’m so happy I found this site. This was our first big shopping trip with coupons. It took us twice as long as normal, but should get easier as we build a system. We got a little nervous as our cart items grew that we were going to have a big bill at the end. In the end, with Turkey and other coupons we ended up with $61 in coupon savings and more groceries than we normally end up with for the price we did pay. It is all stuff we use and I even have a few items to go in my stockpile!

Thanks for the fabulous website. We are also working through the DVD and my husband is on board after watching the first few segments.

These deals worked for me in the Tacoma area. Thanks for the match ups!

Q: What’s a good price on a Pur water filtration system. The one that has One faucet mount and one filter?

  • Patti

So I gave the turkey coupon a try. Purchased $100.07 before coupons & tax & that included the price of the turkey. Paid $56.46 for all of it! I asked when I walked up to check out when they used the turkey coupon. The checker told me that the turkey coupon comes off before ALL coupons & the turkey price is included in your total purchase price for qualification! This is one of those YMMV though. He said it was store policy on this, but we all know how that goes.
