My favorite christmas memory is when we would go to my grandothers at the beach for christmas, every year. Since she has passed we don’t go anywhere. My husband and I have no family close to us. If I won the calendar I would send it to my mother-in-law in Washington.

  • Heather

favorite memory: trekking to tree lot after tree lot with my son to find the ‘perfect’ christmas tree… then bringing it home and decorating it. Seeing him put up and find those special places for his ornaments is priceless to me!

I was fortunate enough to catch the Shutterfly promo of their free calendar about 3 weeks back & worked with my sister in laws to put together a calendar for the grandparents! I would love to print the same calendar for myself!

  • Chrissy Orr

I would give a calendar to my parents. They can never have too many pictures of the grandkids!

  • Amy-KY

My favorite Christmas memory: I remember asking Santa Claus for a tape recorder as a child. You know, the rectangle one with the square speaker and black buttons with the one orange one just below the cassette… Anyways, Christmas morning, there was a brown package from Santa with the words: “FOR THE FAMILY” on it. I opened it to find that tape recorder! Some blank cassettes were also included. We taped that first Christmas where I apparently coined the phrase “CHOCOLATE SANTA!!” to which everyone elbows me and says to this day. I just remember that being the greatest Christmas as a kid, when that ONE THING you’d been hoping for was wrapped under the tree. It was pretty great! 🙂

  • Emerald McCraney

My Favorite Christmas memory is when I first moved in with my step dad and mom and the floor was covered with presents for me and I fainted. I was about 5 but going from having no presents to having a whole room of presents just for me was amazing. The look of my parents face was priceless, they were just as happy as i was. I can’t wait to do the same for my son.

  • My favorite Christmas memory is of when my Aunt and cousins would come visit us in Georgia from Texas. I had 5 cousins and they will be missed deeply. Their lives where taken from them too early. I would give this calendar to my mother-in-law.

  • Vanessa

will keep for myself! i have meade one for everyone but myself!!

  • emily

Might sound bad, but once we finished opening Christmas presents my grandfather always said “OK, time to pack them up and take them back to the store”. Heart crushing as a kid, but now as an adult it is a funny memory. We say it every year in his honor now. And then we reminisce….

  • emily

Making the calendar for me. What a great idea! Would love to see it on my fridge each month.

  • Marcie

My fav Christmas memory would be when Santa came a bit late one year. My hubby was deployed during Christmas 2005, so me and my sons spent the holidays with family. Santa delivered a few gifts then and about 2 weeks later he delivered he rest with daddy! They were only 2 and 4, so the dates didn’t matter much. The look on my boys’ faces was AWESOME!!

  • Moragan K.

My favorite Christmas memory was waking up to find some snazzy new roller skates with a big bow sitting in front of the fireplace. The skates were great, but having BOTH my parents there that morning to help learn how to skate was the best! (they weren’t married, didn’t live together).

  • Emily

Favorite memory is goingto Christmas eve service together as a family, coming home to one present of new pajamas and being thrilled to change into them.

  • Theresa Cledomin

My favourite Christmas memory is the year I got a camera for Christmas and on Christmas morning, we got a TON of snow and my mom woke me up early to go and open up my present so I could take pictures of the sun rising with all the snow falling. I was 16 years old. I then rewrapped the camera and went back to bed till everyone else woke up and then unwrapped the camera like I didn’t know what it was 🙂

  • Moragan K.

If I win, I will keep the calendar for myself. I ordered 4 already, for the Grandparents, but didn’t have enough $$ to get one for myself. I would LOVE to keep one for me! 🙂

  • Monika C

My favorite Christmas memory. When we arrived in the United States 20 some odd years ago with my Mom and little sister, we didn’t have very much. We managed to have a Christmas tree. Catholic Charities has gifted us toys for Christmas. I got this pretty little pink bear, whom I still have. It brought me so much joy. It is nice to know that there are lots of people in the world, that want to brighten a child’s day on Christmas. And YES a little pink teddy bear might just do the job. God Bless

  • Emily

this calendar will be for my mother-in-law …’cause I already made one for my husband and my mom! 😉

  • Theresa Cledomin

I would give the calendar to my mom and fill it with photos of her 9 – soon to be 10 grandkids.

  • brittany porter

My favorite Christmas memory happened in 2005. It was my husband and my first Christmas as a married couple. I was a couple months pregnant and as we were waking up to join the rest of the family when I felt those first kicks from our first baby boy! My husband was also able to feel those little kicks. Which was a amazing Christmas gift to both of us since he left a week later to serve in Iraq. He missed the birth of our oldest son but still felt close to him because he got to feel those first couple kicks.
I would give the.calendar to my mom who just underwent her 3rd open heart surgery and loves seeing my babies everyday she can.

  • Leah Brislin

Early in our marriage, money was tight and Christmas was hard. Someone left a Santa bag on our doorstep with money and gifts personal to each of us. We still have the Santa bag….

  • mominco

Every year I tell myself I will make myself a photo calender of that year’s memories and every year I forget to do it because I am so busy with other things maybe this giveaway will help me actually make 1 for us!

My favorite Christmas memory was our first Christmas as a whole family when my son was 4 and our daughter was just a few weeks old. We were trying to get a cute picture of my son and daughter in front of our christmas tree…after many many shots we had one. But, I will cherish that first christmas together as a family.

  • Emily B

If I won, i would give the calendar to my mother because for many years I have been making her a family calendar for Christmas!

  • Leslie

My favorite holiday memory actually doesn’t deal with Christmas, but New Year’s Eve. My brother was serving in the military, and it had been a long time since anyone had seen him because he had been overseas for quite some time. In fact, he had never met his nephew, my son. Well, we found out that he was coming home on New Year’s Eve that year, so my family planned a big welcome home for him at the airport, and we postponed our Christmas celebrations so that we could celebrate with him. I couldn’t help but break into a huge smile when I first saw him, even with tears streaming from my eyes. I let Mom and my sister hug him first, and I waited my turn, but it didn’t matter that I had to wait because when it was finally my turn to hug him I just couldn’t let go. He is my only brother, and I was so glad to have him home.

  • Leslie

If I won, I would probably give the calendar to my mom or to my brother, because they both live far away from me & we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like.

  • Kristen

My favorite memory was getting one gift from my grandpa every year. At a young age he would give me a national geographic calendar every year, so I could look at the amazing places around the world. He would always have the biggest smile when I opened it. After he passed away no one gave calendars anymore it made me so sad, because he gave them to everyone in the family. So every time i looked i was reminded how much he was apart of my day. since my husband is in the military I realized that I would not be around my family much, I started making Calendars on shutterfly in memory of my grandpa and his Christmas gift. It was a huge hit, and we all remembered his smiles. But the calendars from shutter fly now have our journey of the previous year of deployments, promotions, our kids growing older and all the fun that my family are not able to be apart of because of the distance between us. I knw some people may think that a gift can not last but seeing the pictures of the world through national geographic helped me see the beauty of the world that surrounds me. Sweet homecomings, children going to school, a smile a first tear all of which my grandpa has missed, but his love and memory live on through shutter fly calendars now with my own family and with the great grandchildren he never met

  • Michele Barker

My favorite Christmas memory is going with my dads family up on my Grandpas property and getting a Christmas Tree, sledding (getting pulled on a inner tube behind the trucks) and having chili and hot chocolate.

  • My favorite memory is when I got a brand new dresser. I know it is not “heart felt” gift, but my family was very poor. SO this mean’t the world to me.

  • Sara

My favorite Christmas memories all stem from baking goodies with my Mom and sisters. It’s a tradition that we look forward to each year even as we have all grown and moved away. Thanks!

  • Jenasie

My favorite memory is when the night before Christmas my siblings and I would stay up and try to sneak out and see our presents. We thought we were so sneaky.

  • Ashleigh LaMaster

My favorite Christmas memory involves baking cookies with my mom. It was late one night, we were making something chocolate and she pulled the mixer out of the batter before turning it off. Chocolate was splattered all over our kitchen!

  • Jenasie

Oh and this calendar would be for my own house! 🙂

  • Ashleigh LaMaster

I would send the calendar to my husband who is currently deployed in the desert. I would fill it with pictures of us and our daughter and use it to hopefully remind him of important events while he is gone the next 7 months (including the dates when I hit my second and third trimester, and the 20 weeks mark!)

  • My favorite Christmas memory is once my son was old enough to help decorate the tree with his father and I as a family. I’ll never forget that beautiful smile on his precious little face when he hung that first ornament and the way his eyes lit up with such happiness. my precious angel 🙂 This will always be my favorite Christmas memory. And still to this day he gets so excited when it comes time to pick a tree out and gets to decorate it with me and daddy!! 🙂 memories like these are priceless!!! i will always cherish that moment!!

  • I remember always having to eat breakfast and do the dishes before opening any presents…now that I am a parent, I totally get that. We didn’t even complain when we did the dishes…good times! 🙂
    PS, I love shutterfly!

  • Oh yea, I am making this calendar for myself if I win! Yay! 🙂

  • I will be keeping this for my family 🙂 Thanks so much for such a great giveaway!! 🙂

  • zolzetka

My favorite memory is kinda sad one, but not really from perspective – I was born and raised in Poland – and during communistic time we were very poor – one time a year I would get from church an orange, and I would eat even peel of it – it was so yummy – and I love oranges and now they are my favorite on Christmas – I remember waiting in line with mom to get my package in Church <3

  • Liked and shared on facebook 🙂

My favorite Christmas was the one where my dad lost his job and he and my mom took us to the dollar store to buy gifts for one another. On Christmas eve we got lots of knocks on our door. When we opened the door there was a bag of gifts. THis happened frequently. I don’t think I’ve ever recieved that many gifts at any christmas since, but it wasn’t about the gifts. It was the feeling of being loved and thought of. After that every year we find a family in need and give to them. It’s the best Christmas tradition that my family has ever had and now I pass it onto my daughters. The gift of giving is truly amazing. This Calendar will be given to my mother who LOVES pictures of her grandchildren

  • Christine

I loved going to get a real Christmas tree when I was younger. I really need to start that tradition again!

  • Jacy Clayton

  • Sarah Davis

Favorite Christmas memory would be my first Christmas with a child! It is soooo much better with children!

  • SHENIQUE

My mom got me a keyboard (piano). I had wanted one so bad because my uncle had one and he would let me play whenever I went to visit.

  • Katie Keyser

Favorite Christmas memory: Every year my Mom would make a giant batch of cookie dough. My sisters and myself would crowd around the kitchen table and help cut out hundreds of cookies and decorate them. We’d use some for family, friends, a big party, and ourselves. We’d always leave some for Santa with a glass of milk. The first year we saw the Cheese commercial where the little girl left out cheese for Santa we all KNEW we HAD to try that. We still made cookies; but we also left out cheese. It was so exciting to see the bites made out of the cheese and cookies the next day!

  • Katie Keyser

This calender will be given to my Fiance’s Grandma; made with family photos for the whole year.

  • Koritza M

My favorite Christmas memory was few years back when I finally I got to get together with my whole family for Christmas. I’m an only child so growing up my cousins were like my sisters but as we all got married and started our own families we kind of grew apart but about 5 years ago we finally got to spend a Christmas together all as a family with our husbands and kids and we have been doing it ever since : )

  • Koritza M

I might give the calendar to my parents : )

  • Shawn B!

love thinking back to my early childhood, when my maternal grandmother was still alive – we would each get underoos or Christmas – and she’d have to take a picture – I was always so proud – now looking back, it seems so silly!

The calendar will be much loved and appreciated by the kids’ grandma(s)!

  • Amy D

As a kid we would always get to open one present. It wasn’t always the biggest, most times those were hidden anyways, but the excitement was all the same. It was fun singing Christmas songs and going to see the Christmas lights around town. My Mom tried to make Christmas fun.

  • Amy Diehl

  • Kristen

  • Shirley

My favorite Christmas memory is a toss up between getting to spend it with my best-friend (my grandpa) who’s B-day was Christmas Eve, he has passed, so the last few Christmas’s haven’t been the same although we still honor him during celebration- he loved food! Just like me! The second was 5 years ago when my husband proposed to me at home on Christmas Eve with our kids!:)

My favorite memory is ice skating with the whole family during Christmas break. We were a big skating family and would all strap on our skates and visit this great outdoor rink – followed by hot chocolate.

  • Julie Berry

My favorite Christmas memory is from 1984. My dad was stationed in Germany and my mom, brother, and I arrived just a few weeks before Christmas. My brother and I (8 and 9) were very scared that Santa would not know where to find us. Our parents brought home a Christmas tree but because we had not received our belongings yet the tree had no decorations. We had just a tree for the days leading up to Christmas, but when we woke up Christmas morning we saw the most beautifully decorated tree ever! My mom had used white paper, markers, and ribbon from my dolls to decorate the tree. It was the most magical Christmas of my Childhood. Oh and Santa found us!

Favorite memory: waking up so early that my parents locked all of us kids back into a room until they were ready to get up that morning. All of us kids were pretty sad at the time but really knew that it was way too early to be up! And yes this calendar might be for our family so we can put pictures up all year! My favorite memory is when I was probably 10 years old. It was a pretty rough year for my parents in 1963. I really wanted this watch I had saw at the local department store. I told my mom about it and she said “We’ll see.” I wasn’t expecting much that year, but I opened a small box and there was that watch! I ran into my parent’s room jumping for joy!

  • My favorite Christmas memory is of going from store to store to find a Wii for my son when they were the HOT ticket item. Even though it was stressful, we finally got one and I look back on it as an adventure.

  • I would totally give this calendar to my mom. She would LoVe it!

  • Debbi C

My favorite Christmas memory is remembering my mom singing Christmas carols as she filled our stockings in the morning, right outside my bedroom door. • Michelle dement

Since I didn’t have the greatest childhood and was adopted twice I never really spent christmas with anyone who I felt truly loved me until I married my husband and we had our two beautiful children. My favorite Christmas memory is the year my brother and I couldn’t be with our parents for Christmas. We were both in college at the time and my parents lived in Argentina. We just couldn’t afford the airfare that year. So, my parents sent money to my Aunt with a list of presents and had her deliver them on our doorstep early Christmas morning in a large sack like Santa’s. It was such a great surprise as we were both feeling really down.

Thank you for the opportunity to win! Merry Christmas!

My best memory was being able to purchase something for my mom for the first time with my own money. Her birthstone is the Ruby, and I was able to buy her matching earrings, necklace, and ring. It felt so good to know that I did it on my own.

  • Tennille P.

My favorite Christmas memory is at our family Christmas gift exchange I had found out I was expecting but my husband decided to wait and announce that as a gift to the family. So as a present to our son, we wrapped the book titled “I’m a Big Brother!” and it was handed to him about halfway through the gift exchange. He opened it and he wasn’t old enough to read so he got his Nana to read it but his Aunt caught on immediately and then the whole family was crying tears of joy. Little Logan has joined our family and is now 3 and Big Brother Ethan is now 6. That is truly my favorite Christmas memory!!

The BEST Christmas memory was when I was little. I was too shy to talk to Santa, but he sat me on his knee and tried and tried to get me to talk. Finally he asked if I wanted a Baby Go Bye-Bye. Oh, I can only imagine the look on my face. YES! That was it! The only thing I wanted. Not a super popular toy, not hinted at by my mom, whom I sure because a firm believer that day, just Santa knowing what was hidden in a little girl’s heart.

  • Cyndie Dunn

The calendar? It will be for me and my wonderful son so we can keep track of our crazy lives. LOL!

My favorite Christmas memory was when I was about six years old and my parents, brother and I had recently moved here. My parents waited till Xmas eve to go shopping like they used to do in Peru and found everyone closed early and they had no gifts for their 6 and 12 year olds. We went to my father’s bosses Christmas party that night and the kids were rotten children who fought with us and excluded us – and the next day my parents felt so bad for us that they took us to Disney World. Way to make lemonade mom and dad!!

My favorite Christmas memory is one of all of the cousins (I think I was 10) playing in the hall at my Nana’s Christmas Eve. We decided we would make a pyramid of people! There were quite a few bruises and a busted lip but we did it with all 10 of us as part of the pyramid!

  • Amber Seefeld

My fave memories are all of pure excitement on Xmas eve night!! Going to bed listening to jingle bells outside because I was sure I could hear Santa every year.

My favorite Christmas memory was when we would have a Christmas Eve party at my Grandparent’s house. My Grandfather would dress up as Santa each year and bring us all one gift. The gifts were all from the dollar store. However, my grandparents would pick each gift specially to match each of our personalities at that time. One time, when I was a teenager and spent way too long on my appearance, I got a vanity set in a foldable pouch with Lucy on the front that said “Look at me, Look at me” My cousins and I looked forward to those dollar store gifts each year. They were often more special than the gifts we had on our “lists”!
