Feeling Crafty? FruGAL Mothers Day Flowers

This is for all you crafty (and not so crafty) FruGALS out there who still love making Mom something handmade for Mothers Day. All you need is a few twigs, a pair of scissors, a couple of pieces of card stock and a bit of hot glue.

Cut 3 pieces of card stock into 4″ squares.

Draw a swirl onto your 4″ square in pencil.

Cut out and wrap around a pencil…

Or by hand.

Your paper “swirl” will soon turn into a pretty flower.

If you use 3 pieces of card stock cut into 4″ squares you should end up with 1 dozen flowers.

Gather some twigs from the backyard and simply hot glue the flowers to the twigs.

Arrange in a vase or wrap in brown kraft paper with a raffia bow 🙂  Mom will LOVE them!

*FYI> This is way better than dried noodles glued to construction paper…
