FAB Pay It Forward Garage Sale: We Need YOU!

Unless you have been living under a rock (or are a brand new reader-WELCOME!), you have probably heard talk about our 2nd annual  FAB Pay It Forward Community Garage Sale.

You can find out how it all started HERE.

You can learn details HERE.

You can learn about who we are helping and how YOU can  help HERE.

You can get drop-off location info HERE.

Now that we have that business out of the way, let’s move on to the fun stuff- like nominating a family in need!

That’s right, we are hopeful this year’s sale will be as big (if not BIGGER) than last years (obviously we need your contributions & help to make that happen!!). We feel that if we earn as much as we did last year, we could divide the money and help THREE families instead of TWO!

So now we need to hear from you. Do you know of a local family in need? Someone you are close to that is suffering? A family that is dealing with an illness, a job loss, a personal tragedy, or someone who just can’t catch a break? We want to help!!

Email us at fabulesslyfrugal @ gmail.com and tell us about them.

Why are they deserving?

Why do you adore them?

How will this money affect them?

We can’t guarantee we will pick the family you nominate, as we only have 1 spot left. But we won’t even know about them unless you take a moment to email us!

Because the sale is less than 2 weeks away, we will pick our 3rd family in just 24 hours!! So get those emails in ASAP!

And keep those donations coming! We are LOVING how willing to give back our readers are (although we aren’t surprised one bit, as we have the MOST AMAZING READERS!!).

ps. For our non-local readers (and we ADORE you too!) we will have details about how you can support this FAB cause by purchasing raffle tickets online soon. So stay tuned…

What a fantastic cause…thank you for allowing nominations!

A dear friend of ours, Cyrus McCrory had a massive seizure about a month ago. Since then doctors have discovered a kiwi-sized brain tumor. It’s incurable, though they have gone in twice now to remove and will quite possibly do radiation as well. On top of all this, the family DID NOT have health insurance and they have 3 children ages 3, 2 and 5 months. His wife is doing all she can to care for the kids, her husband, and the finances…all without an income. This is a very sweet, generous, kind family. Cyrus owned his own remodeling business, is a hard-working family man, and wants so badly to continue his work. But with recovering from his surgeries, and still in danger of having seizures while operating any kind of machinery (car, tools, etc.) he has been unable to work. It would warm our whole community to know that this garage sale could help much needed expenses.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration!!!

I do not personally know this family, but hear about them often through my sister-in-law. Their ability to remain positive and strong throughout this is such an inspiration. I think they are very deserving of the help. I hope you will consider this family that is in need.
