Fab Family Fun: Bowling

Did you know there is a free summer bowling program for kids? At kidsbowlfree.com, you can register them for the program.  You do have to pay for the shoe rental each time.

The maximum age allowed is determined by the bowling alley.  The 20th Century Lanes in Boise has an age limit of 18.  However, you can purchase a family pass (up to 4 adults) for $24.95, which includes 2 games per person per day all summer!

Just click on the link and then click on your state to find a participating bowling alley near you.  Select the one you want and it will show you the age limit, hours, and shoe rental policy for that specific location.  Then fill out the form and they will email you your free bowling passes each week.

Or, let your kids bowl for free in your living room! All you need are paper or plastic cups and a ball.  Stack the cups in a pyramid and let the kids roll their favorite ball to knock them over.

I just purchased a family pass and received a free $50 gift certificate from Restaurants.com. I wasn’t sure if I would actually use the bowling pass enough to spend the $25, but w/ the restaurant gift cert how could I pass it up?!

We just went bowling in our hallway and the kids love it! In addition to hand eye coordination, our 2.5 year old now knows how to stack the cups! Woot!
