Fab Family Fun: 2 Cabin Fever Games
This is the time of year we start to get major cabin fever knowing Spring is so close, but still so far. Here are two very simple inside games my kids like to play.
Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?
I’m sure there aren’t many people who don’t know this game. But in case you’ve never played or have forgotten about it, I’m going to share. I completely forgot about it until we were stuck in the car for an hour and my kids were getting antsy. I taught them how to play and now we play all the time. All you do is take turns blaming each other for stealing the cookie from the cookie jar. Here’s the chant:
All: Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
Choose one person and name them: AJ stole the cookie from the cookie jar!
Chosen person: Who me?
All: Yes you.
Chosen Person: Couldn’t be.
All: Then who?
Chosen Person: Names someone new, and the chant starts over.
The Pillow Game
We just made this up one day, again, in our boredom. I sit on the couch with a couch pillow in front of my face and the kids sneak up and hit the pillow. Once they touch it, they run away and I move the pillow and try to grab them. If I get them, they get tickled. They usually like me to hold the pillow, but sometimes we trade.
