I signed up for Pinecone about a year ago, was apparently accepted, but after that acceptance email, never heard another word from them. And, it was quite a process to fill out the application. For me it ended up being a complete waste of time … but maybe there’s something I don’t know…?

Rachel – I did it last year for quite a while. I even got some free samples (that I took surveys on after trying the product). I’m wondering if you used a different email than your usual when you signed up? If you don’t respond to any survey requests after a while, then they stop sending them to you. Also, did you complete all the profile questions? It could be that you didn’t fit the criteria of who they were looking for?

        Cathy —

No, they had the correct email, and in fact, they sent me a “congratulations, you’ve been accepted to Pinecone” type message. I thought it was odd I never heard another word from them, and I actually am still a little concerned, considering the huge amount of personal info I entered on that questionnaire.

Rachel – let me dig through my archives and see if I can get a contact email for you. That is a valid concern. Maybe try logging into your account? That welcome email should have all the info you need to do that. I had nothing but a positive experience. Sorry to hear it wasn’t for you.

I tried the links in this post and it would only take me to the “Click to Give” sight after I filled out the quick demographics questionaire. Is click to give the same thing? And how would I get started taking surveys?

    • Cathy

Sounds like it is redirecting… they must have all the entries they needed. I have not done “Click to Give”, so couldn’t help you there. I’ll go ahead and update the post. Sorry Elena!

Elena – I just clicked the links and they still took me to PineCone Research… maybe it was temporarily down. Give it another try!
