DIY- Liquid Dishwasher Detergent!
Believe it or not, you can make your own liquid dishwasher detergent and it’s so easy! It does call for one ingredient that you probably don’t have on hand called Castile soap. I would recommend picking this up because it’s sort of a universal soap and you will see many more of my do it yourself projects calling for it. You can find it at Walgreens or any health store. Ok, now we can move on! 🙂
Here is what you are going to need:
- Liquid Castile Soap
- Squirt of Lemon Juice
- Container to store your liquid in
First thing you are going to do is add one cup of liquid Castile soap to your storage container.
Now add 1/4 cup of water to your soap.
Add 1/4 cup of vinegar.
And the final touch (for a little disinfectant and fragrance), 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice.
Close up your container and shake.
Next time you’re ready to wash your dishes, simply add 2 tablespoons to your dishwasher!!
That’s all there is to it! It’s a simple recipe that costs pennies to make!
Enjoy! Remember to like, share, tweet, and pin this post! 🙂
