Amazon has recently increased the minimum for free shipping on non-prime member orders. Until now, Amazon required non-members to spend a minimum of $25 to receive free shipping. The price has now increased to a $35 minimum purchase to get free shipping. Although, it’s just a $10 increase, any increase might be a little frustrating to guest that are trying to live frugally.

The $35 minimum is by design. Amazon now aligns with Walmart on $35 minimum for free shipping. Walmart has a DEAL on Walmart+ right now you can snag a full year for $49 (that beats the pants off of Prime) and I use mine several times a week for that free shipping no minimum. You want to gran this deal NOW because it ends when the Walmart Black Friday season begins November 8th (Walmart+ members shop 3-hours before ANYONE else. I LOVE this benefit and use it every year to get my deals bought and done.
