Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage
Once a year for St. Patrick’s Day, our family enjoys Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner. Â Using the crock pot, this recipe makes having this complete meal SO simple! Â You throw it all in the pot, let it cook away all day, add a fresh fruit or salad, and enjoy your St. Patty’s Day feast!
Serves 8-10 for about Â $1.45, depending on the size of your Corned Beef
8-10 medium/small sized red potatoes – $0.91
2 cups baby carrots – $0.78
head of cabbage, sliced – $2.76
Corned Beef with Seasoning Packet – $9.45
1 medium onion, sliced – $0.33
salt and pepper
1 cup water
Place potatoes, onion and carrots in the bottom of crock pot.
Place meat on top.
Place cabbage wedges around the meat and season with salt and pepper. Â Sprinkle seasoning packet on meat. Â Add 1 cup of water.
Â Cook on low 8-9 hours.
