Read everything on the site about how to coupon, then start with the stores you are the most familiar with. Leave Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS till you are more familiar with couponing. Use the weekly newspaper deals (on the site) as a blueprint. Make a list of stuff you use (not by brand, but by item, Try to figure out how many of each you you use a month, ( a menu plan is helpful) then yyou can multiply that by how ever many months you wish to stockpile. Keep in mind some items store better than others (mayo, for example, is not a particularly good keeper, cereal keeps really well. Also keep in mind that in the beginning you have to use a part of your budget for actual food you need THIS WEEK, or your family will get REALLY tired of granola bars or dry pasta! ( Yes, dear, 29 cents for dishwasher soap is terrific, and I’m glad we won’t need to buy it for years, but WHAT’S FOR DINNER?!!!) I buy in large amounts so I buy my coupons ( Coupon Masters, Coupon Clippers and ebay) but newspapers may be cheaper for you. Good luck to you!
