Cleaning Out Your Coupon Inserts June 1

Is Your Binder Feeling… UGH!!!???

Organization is KEY to couponing! If you aren’t organized, couponing can get frustrating and even come to a halt! Also, if you don’t clean out your binder – you’ll get to the point where you can’t close it (and then it’s a pain to carry around)!

One of the things that I love about the clip-LESS coupon organization system is that it’s easy to pull out expired coupons. Remember that you can always donate expired coupons to the Overseas Coupon Program!

Here is a list & this is how you use it…

  1. This is a list of some of the older inserts that still have coupons in them that you can use.
  2. The date in bold is the insert
  3. Underneath each date are unexpired coupons (as well as their expiration date)
  4. Personally, if I know with out a doubt that I will NOT use that coupon, I’ll pull the entire insert to make room in my binder. OR…
  5. You may want to just clip out the few remaining coupons and pull the rest of the insert.
  6. If you have any inserts older than Nov 7th 2010, you don’t need them any more!

Hope this helps you keep your binders beautiful! 🙂

  • I love this!! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner. I follow the “no-clip” process, but I always keep my inserts longer than I need to since I don’t know which ones are expired! Thanks for putting this together!

This list is awesome! What I do is when I get down to 1 or 2 coupons from an insert I clip those and place them in a baseball card holder page behind my month (Jan-Dec) tabs by when they expire. This frees up my pages for new inserts and makes sure I don’t let them expire! It also makes clean out easier because on June 1st I mailed out all my May coupons overseas.

I LOVE THIS!!! I joining your e-mail list just to get this everytime you put it out!!!!!!!

I am a newbie to clipping. I dont feel my organization is quite up to par. Are you saying you type up a list of each coupon for the front and modify as you get new coupons? Wow that would make it easier. Then you just have to scan through the list. Then you separate each set of coupons by insert date. And you put them in baseball card pockets? One type of coupon for each pocket? I would appreciate any feedback so I can get the hang of this and by looking at all my coupons…i know organization is key! =)

I just started using the print out lists, but rather than taking the whole thing to the store, I just plan my trip ahead of time, clip the coupons I need and cross them off the printed list. And if the item is out of stock and I still have the coupon, I just clip it back on the insert when I’m done shopping. So far this is working. 🙂 Also if you need somebody to help with typing up lists for the Tacoma area, let me know. I noticed the new ones aren’t up yet and I wanted to print and attach them to this week. I’d be happy to help type these up, if there’s a template or something just let me know, megasus at megasus dot net is my email. 😉

Is there a list for the Spokane Washington area?
