WOWZA! I went a little crazy this week buying steak like MAD. We had 2 BBQs at our house and then my hubby & I went all out on an anniversary dinner. To say I went a little over budget is an understatement! But I don’t regret one tasty morsel!! 🙂

Hi! I had a question for Amber. Where did you buy your steak? We also do many bbq’s.
    Thanks,

  • Lauren H.

    I won?!?! Awesome!

Ugh. I’ve gone over on my month and now have used up my “cushion funds”, which were from the months I hadn’t spent my total monthly allotment. It’s only by about $5.00 altogether, so if I have some future months in which I spend less, I’m still okay. I went over because I ordered some summer barbecue meat from Zaycon Foods. (German sausages and beef patties–their food is very good)

My 19 yr old son is home for the summer from college, so there’s another mouth to feed right now, too.

Zaycon meats are good, and they do put you over budget since you stock up so much, but it should help you stay under budget in the months to come.
