How are you doing with your Grocery Budget?

Did you know we have a weekly challenge going?  Lucky for you, it’s not too late to join!  Here are the details about our 2012 Grocery Budget Challenge. Even if you are not yet using coupons you need to start saving by setting some goals!

I had lot’s of fun at the Fred Meyer Founders Day Sale! That is where I did all of my shopping this week. I stocked up on cheese that does not expire until next year. I bought chips for upcoming summer camping trips and BBQ’s. I got bread, butter, ice cream and peanut butter too. I also stopped in to Walgreens and spent .72 and saved 12!

Becky: Feeding a family of 3

Spending this week: $.02
Savings this week: $6.52

Spending For May: $81.32
Savings For May: $128.54

Year to date spending: $860.10
Year to date savings: $1349.43

Since we moved this past weekend, I didn’t do much except pack 🙂

Spending this week: $148.07
Savings this week: $26.36

Spending For May: $225.52
Savings For May: $106.37

Year to date spending: $1387.81
Year to date savings: $1034.20
