Best Egg Yolk Separator

egg yolk separator

A few weeks ago when I shared my Best Waffles Ever Recipe I told you about a cool egg separator that I had found on amazon. It arrived a few weeks ago and I was able to try it out and take some pictures to share with you.

I must say I was really pleased about how well the egg separator works and how easy it was to use. So I am really excited to share it with you. I love kitchen tools to make my job easier and more exciting in the kitchen. I hope you can snag one and enjoy it too!

Here are my instructions for use:

  1. Squeeze the colored squeeze chamber and place the clear plastic yolk chamber piece over the egg yolk.
  2. Release pressure on the bladder and the egg is suctioned half way into the separator.
  3. Lift the yolk away from the egg white.
  4. Transfer the yolk to another bowl and squeeze to release.

Here is how you get this cool tool for yourself:

Since pennies count when it comes to being thrifty… it may be nice to know that you can use an empty single-serve water bottle just as well.

That is a great idea Erika! Thanks for sharing. I usually like to drink free water from home so we do not have water bottles on hand that often.
