I didn’t think there was a 12/2/12 RP for the Soever A’s..please help! Thank you

    • Ang

It must not have been in Idaho. Our system tells us all the coupons that are out there, sometimes it will let me know if it was local or not. I pulled up eBay & there are some on there people are selling for the cost of them cutting them.

  • janet

    Sorry…meant Aleve

so is the limit 4 per day a new tactic to avoid couponers?

    • belle

I don’t think it is aimed toward couponers in general. I just know the last time they had these daily deals, people were going through the line 4-5 times getting their limit each transaction. By the time 5:00 rolled around and people were getting off work, there would be no stock left of the advertised special. So, IMHO, they are really just giving everyone the same opportunity to get in on the deal, whether you have a coupon to use on the item or not. From what I was told, you can get the deals every day for the four days, so if you want more than four boxes of cereal, you can go back and get more the next day still.

    • Ang

It’s to avoid the overload they had last time. I know at the store I shop at people were yelling at the manager that they were going to call the President (Obama) to complain about them. Because they ran out of stuff so fast. Albertsons told me that they are going to track the amounts off of your Albertsons card.

Will some one be so kind as to explain “coupon match up”

    • K. Dahl

“Coupon Match up” is the term used when the sale items from this week’s ad are matched up with the known coupons available from the newspaper inserts. These match ups are posted weekly for each store to guide us and saves us time. (BIG thanks to whomever does this each week!!)

      • Ang

Thanks! That was a great explanation. We also ad some great printable coupons & this week there are some awesome ones to add to your Albertsons card through savingstar!

  • Angie

    Tortilla &eggs coupon expired 12/31

  • Becky Hemmert

I bought the Dole salad with the Maries dressing today. I bought the 12oz dressing marked $4.59, and used the coupons that were suggested here so it was $2.59 for both the dressing and salad. That was in Pocatello

  • Melissa

Someone told me that on the AD it tells us if there are doublers or not is this true & do we know if there are any this week?? seems like they have been doing them ALOT but this weeks ad is really good & the past weeks have been so so..

    • Ang

I’ve never seen the ad say that there will be doublers. It does state if there are round ups or not though. I haven’t seen any coming up. Normally doublers come out the 1st & 3rd weekends of the month, yes lately it’s been crazy coupon town at Albertsons! It’s been great not sure if it will continue like that. (fingers crossed!)

  • belle

Bought my cereals today and received a $1 store coupon to use on any item during the next weekly sale like this (think the date was around the 16th). Was also very happy to find the Boise theater as one of the participating theaters for the free movie tickets!

  • Tiffany

Can someone briefly explain to me how the tax works when you use doublers? On some of my transactions the subtotal is $1.96 and then total with tax was like 2.26! That’s 15 percent! On others it was even 30 percent! How does that work???

    • johnny b coupon

You pay tax on the original price of the product … so say the product is $2.00 and you have a dollar off in coupons. Your total would be $1.12 cents, not $1.06 because you are paying tax on the $2.

      • Tiffany

Thank you! That’s what I was wondering!

        • Ang

It’s such a weird thing! I wish it wasn’t like that but johnny b is right. You basically are paying tax on what it would cost you without coupons. Since we cater to so many different tax amounts it’s easier for me to just enter in the price before tax. Hope all that helps Tiffany!

  • Rebecca W

I had to giggle when I read the cereal scenario on General Mills “Twix”! I’m going to assume you meant Trix Ang.

  • Stephanie

Will there be doublers in tomorrow’s paper?

  • ipon70

If you buy the “bulk pack” on the Boneless Beef Bottom Round Roast, they drop the price to $2.49 a pound.

    • Ang

That’s a good price thanks! You can also ask the butcher to ground it for you, they should do it for free. You make loose 1/2 a pound or so.

  • NancyH

Not sure if anybody has covered this, but at my Albertsons the cereal boxes with the movie codes were not the ones on sale. I was lucky enough to find some that were clearance priced (and I used a coupon) but the movie code boxes were the big sized ones and the sale prices were for the little boxes.

Just purchased Holiday Glade products (candles & Spray) for .75 each by hitting the Holiday discount carts at my Albertsons (Columbia Village). They are half price, 1.49 each, and I used my $1.50/2 coupons.

Also used my Nestle baking kits coupons, .50/1 for Nestle TollHouse Cookie Kit, Carnation Famous Fudge Kit, and Libby’s Iced Pumpkin Bread Kit. They were marked down to $2/ea, after coupon, I paid 1.50 ea. They were originally $5.99 – and you can’t even buy a bag of chocolate chips for that price!

(There are still two carts of this product at the Columbia Village store.) 🙂
