52 Weeks of Pinterest: Week 51 – Frozen Blueberry Bites!

This year I wanted to go with a resolution I would have no problem sticking to! Then as I was pinning an item on Pinterest, a light bulb flashed on above my head. Ok, maybe not literally, but this great idea popped into my head. Those of us who are Pinterest users know that we pin hundreds of things a week, but do we ever do them? So I decided this year I would do one of my pins every week. At the moment, 52 weeks of Pinterest was born. Each week I will do something I found on Pinterest rather it be a craft, new recipe, organizing technique, or whatever! This week we made frozen blueberry bites. frozen-blueberries-and-yogurt

What You Need:

Blueberries Yogurt Toothpick Wax Paper Frozen blueberries on their own are a staple in my house. They are so yummy and my kids think they are like candy so it makes me happy. Add a little yogurt to them and I feel like mom of the year! 🙂 You can use fresh blueberries or frozen, which ever you can find the best deal on. I used frozen blueberries and it made the process much easier in my opinion. To make, stick a toothpick into your blueberry about halfway. Dip into whatever kind of yogurt you would like. I used regular vanilla yogurt but am going to try with strawberry yogurt later. A lot of people like Greek yogurt so this may be an option too. We are not fans at my house though. Shake off the excess yogurt and then drop onto cookie sheet lined in waxed paper. 1234 Once you have filled your pan up, place in freezer for 1 hour to make them solid. After that, you can remove and place into snack size bags for easy snack time. Make sure to pin this to Pinterest to save for later! If you are not following us on Pinterest, make sure to do so now so you don’t miss out on some great pins!
