52 Weeks of Pinterest: Week 36 – Witch Hat & Broomstick Snacks!

This year I wanted to go with a resolution I would have no problem sticking to! Then as I was pinning an item on Pinterest, a light bulb flashed on above my head. Ok, maybe not literally, but this great idea popped into my head. Those of us who are Pinterest users know that we pin hundreds of things a week, but do we ever do them? So I decided this year I would do one of my pins every week. At the moment, 52 weeks of Pinterest was born. Each week I will do something I found on Pinterest rather it be a craft, new recipe, organizing technique, or whatever!

This week I went with a Halloween treat: Witch Hat & Broomstick Snacks!

What You Will Need:

Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Mini Pretzel Rods
Fudge Striped Cookies
Icing
Sprinkles
Hershey Kisses

Halloween is fast approaching and I can’t help but get excited because it happens to be my favorite holiday!

I decided I would start the season off we these super cute witch hat and broomstick snacks.

To create the hats I used fudge striped cookies face down (I choose the dark chocolate ones) with icing around the hole. Be creative and use whatever colors your heart desires. I used black, orange, and purple.

I then topped my icing with some festive looking sprinkles.

To finish off the hat, place a Hershey’s kiss.

You can be a little more festive and create witch broomsticks.

These are the easiest of the two to make and my kids helped create them.

To make these I just flipped Reese’s Mini Cups upside down and inserted a mini pretzel rod.

Tada!

These were super quick and would be so cute at a Halloween party.

Make sure to pin this to Pinterest to save for later! If you are not following us on Pinterest, make sure to do so now so you don’t miss out on some great pins!
