30 Healthy Instant Pot Recipes You Need to Try

Healthy Instant Pot Recipes

Eat cleaner, healthier, and quicker with the Instant Pot!

What is clean eating? Clean eating, simply put, is eating whole foods as close to their natural state. That means minimally processed food or handled food. Of course, almost everything we have these days is somewhat processed because we heat it up, or puree it, etc.

Even your all fruit and vegetable smoothie is processed because you have chopped and pureed it. However, it’s still not as processed as say a store bought breakfast bar. The goal is to stay minimally processed.

P.S. – We also have other clean eating recipes to help you stay inspired and healthy! Be sure to check them out!

  • Thank you for putting this list together! I recently found out that I am very sensitive to gluten, milk, and peanuts (along with a whole bunch of other things that only cause mild reactions) so it is wonderful to have this list of good (and safe for me) recipes to use in my new Instant Pot.

I also REALLY appreciate that you included a photo of each dish because I’m a very visual person. Endless lists of recipes – with names only – make my eyes blur. LOL

  • This is an awesome list. I am definitely going to bookmark it.

  • Looks good!
    Thank you 👌

  • The food looks delicious and healthy. BUT I first looked at chicken with cilantro rice. Cook rice separately in rice cooker? Make sauce separaelty in sauté pan and coat chicken in sauté pan? Why bother with the Instant Pot? 😞

    • Marge, the issue you have highlighted also grabbed my attention. i would really like to know the answer. Cheers!

      • Hello! Looks like we missed the original question! I’m not exactly sure which recipe you’re referring to Marge. Some of them are ours, and others belong to other blogs. But since chicken and rice have very different cook times, I suspect that’s why it’s not recommended to cook them together. Although, I myself purchased a 2nd instant pot for this very reason!

  • i wish i read my email ! And got one on sale day.. I use my small
Crock pot. I. Like these recipes.

  • This list is so great!! We just got an instant pot so I was looking for some great recipes that were easy and delicious. We have only made dinners from this list so far and we have enjoyed every. single. one. Currently making up next weeks shopping list and menu with the recipes we didn’t get to.

  • Do you have a list of the most useful Instant Pot accessories?

  • Can you make banana bread in an instant pot?

  • I got my instapot today! Was searching for recepies and landed on your website! I’m gonna try all of them.

  • Followed the “Chicken Fennel Soup: The PaleoCajun Lady” recipe and it was A DISASTER! She said to cook it for “30 minutes.” Well, this was my first soup attempt and what I got was a big pot of disintegrated chicken and veggie MUSH! The chicken completely disintegrated into mushy strings of chicken and the broth was so bland I had to save it by throwing in a couple packs of Ramen seasoning that I had. I then looked at other chicken soup recipes and found that virtually everyone else said to cook chicken soup for only around TEN minutes. Wasted a whole pot of ingredients (fennel ain’t cheap!) and had to apologize to my family that had patiently waited in expectation of a nice bowl of soup and ended up eating mush. Well ‘Live and Learn,” I guess; now I look around at similar recipes to what I’m cooking so as to get a better idea of accurate cooking time.

    • Oh man, that really stinks! Did she have negative comments on her blog post? Might be worth letting her know your experience… maybe she has some insight for you. Thank you for letting us know your experience!

  • We tried the teriyaki chicken tonight! Mouth watering! The best chicken I’ve ever made! I made lettuce wraps with jasmine rice and the teriyaki chicken 🤤

  • It looks easy to make! Will try it tonight!

  • a lot of thse are for the slow cooker, NOT the instant pot. do you have versions of these for the actual IP?

    • Hi Prk… I just checked every link and a few of them are originally slow cooker recipes that also have instructions for the instant pot . You just have to scroll down to the recipe to see the modifications. Hope that helps!
