$2 Tide Coupon Update

Last week we showed you how to use the new $2 Tide coupon that came out in todays paper to get overage at Walmart.

Unfortunatly this deal may not work out. Tide has made the following announcement their facebook page:

So don’t be too surprised if your store rejects this coupon.  Now I believe that Tide should let us know on the coupon how it should be used rather than through facebook. However, we recommned that you follow the instructions of the manufacturer even if they are given in this manner.

Luckily we found a fab deal on Tide that you can snag NOW!

LOL now they are saying that the message was a typo and that the stores WILL be reimbursed for them. either way, i dont really care, im using mine on the 50oz bottles that are FINALLY on sale at a good price lol. 🙂

I think they are just doing damage control now. They have a typo that is a whole paragraph long? I am guessing we will see some changes to the coupon wording now. 🙂 Even if that happens $2 off is great on any size!

My walmart took them last night so i guess i got lucky? BUT the coupon wouldn’t scan through because it was for more than the item, So the cashier (per her managers instructions) put it though as a vendor coupon manually.

Teresa ~ Where are the 50 oz. bottles on sale at if you don’t mind sharing? Thanks!

At rite aid and walgreens they are 5.99 🙂 so with the $2Q i will glady pay 3.99 for my tide. 🙂

      • Teresa, thank you for the store updates! I knew Tide was on sale but discovered my ads made it into the recycling bin which was emptied yesterday. Off to Walgreens to pick up Tide and another package of $.49 candy bars for lunches.

Rite Aid also has the buy $50 in PG and receive $15 in +Up rewards.. I bought 4 tide and used the last of my Cover Girl to score everything (6 CG products and (4) 50oz Tide) for $5 after factoring in my $15 in +Ups… love deals like that!

In my opinion the 2$ coupons do not come around often enough to waste them on 1 load and 1.03 overage any way. My family of 4 has a lot of laundry!

I was able to use my coupons at walmart last night for the single use packs. The coupon didn’t scan but they entered it manually. I make my own laundry soap so I wasn’t interested in using the coupons for a bottle of tide. I only bought 4 packs with 4 coupons. I used just enough to be able to buy a small pack of store brand diapers. My total was $.57
