  1. i found a great deal…. its at winco….. this last sunday (12/04) coupon circular of smart source has a buy 2 jergens moisturizers save $3 coupon in it. at my local winco the 7.5 oz bottle of jergens extra moisturizing hand wash is only $1.22 a piece. also the 16oz refill for the jergens extra moisturizing hand wash is only a whopping $1.70. making two of the refills a cheeeaaaap 40 cents each….

  2. A bit disappointed with myself for not going back in to the Eugene winco to make right with the coupons. Ugh, I was so exhausted & my popscycles were thawing. With a 40 minute drive I just gave up.

I’m thinking I am not going to do winco anymore. I noticed the prices listed here are less than what are on the shelf at the store I go to. For example today I purchased the Farm Rich french toast sticks and they were 2.44 not 1.98. Not sure if I can find a website that has our prices on the shelves here in Oregon.

Anyway, my coupon experiences are never without issue at winco. Today, I was bagging fast & trying to keep an eye on whether the coupons were going through. At the end he gave me my total and I knew that was wrong, so I asked him if it took all the coupons and he said no. I asked to have the ones that wouldn’t work and he PULLED THEM OUT OF THE GARBAGE ! There were 4 B1G1 free of the pure protein bars that I had clipped out of my local papers. I asked him to scan it again and it beeped because it needed the amounted put in, so he did (or so I thought he did all 4). I continued bagging and when he was done he said 111.00 My math had it at 103 and change. I paid it and left. When I looked at my receipt, he only credited 3 of the get one free amounts. Then I quickly noticed that only 4 of the 6 2.00 coupons I had were scanned…ugh.. I left feeling quite defeated. I don’t usually let things get to me but the straw was, after I asked the guy to rescan those, another checker told me that next time to make it easier for them, that I need to group my things together. I must of gave her an odd look (cuz that is how I was feeling) because then she quickly said.. if its possible.

This is the first time in 2 weeks Ive drove the 40 miles to winco… it will probably be more than 2 weeks before I have it in me to do this again…ugh

But the bottom line wasn’t bad 21 percent savings !!

Thanks for reading my rant. I love couponing and having a child with autism who only eats brand specific items… all the pennies I can save are extra special ;)

    • I’m so sorry you had that experience! I’ve had some bad ones at Winco too. I just go for some of the bulk items there anymore. The checkers at the Marysville and Everett WA Winco are so incredibly rude that it absolutely ruined my couponing experience there. I’d tried so hard to be friendly with them and they just poo pooed all over my day repeatedly.

  3. I can’t find where the Folgers coupon is on the page that its linked with. It opens a Walmart link.

  4. I had that happen to me about a year ago at the Eagle Winco. They told me if they don’t scan they can’t accept them and that they couldn’t punch in the numbers manually. I found that my problem was that I was using an ink jet printer and the ink was smearing as she literally swiped them across the scanner, so that they couldn’t be scanned anymore. I switched to our laser printer and haven’t had any problems since. I know not everyone can do that, though. Good luck! It is frustrating!

  5. Can’t seem to find the Smuckers coupon. Anyone? Ty.

  6. I usually don’t have problems with my coupons at Winco in Twin Falls but on my last trip I was told they weren’t taking Internet coupons anymore when i asked why she changed her story and said they couldn’t take the ones that didn’t scan. when scanning my coupons she just flicked them back and forth like she really didn’t want them to scan. :( frustrating.

    • Summer- The same thing happened to me last week at the TF Winco. She did not say they did not take internet coupons but she did say that they could not take them if they did not scan. She was very annoyed that she had to keep swiping the coupon. I only had 4 coupons. Two scanned right away and she had to enter the other two. Just to clarify I asked if they were allowed to enter the coupon manually and she said that if didn’t specifically say that and she would do if for me this one time. Needless to say I am confused and apprehensive about shopping there anymore with coupons.

      • Jeni and Summer, we are so sorry about this experiences. To clarify policy, we gladly accept internet coupons as long as they scan and meet the rest of our requirements. Please do let us know if you ever have any bad experience so we may look into it, it’s an honor serving the couponing community.

        • I think that’s really important, to let customer service know when you get exceedingly bad or good experiences. I’ve found that at a number of places, including Walgreens, that letting them know what’s going right AND wrong helps them to make the right changes.
(I have to admit, though, Walmart didn’t seem to care at all when SEVERAL of us complained that the door greeter was being rude. They kept her there, and she never changed! FWIW, that was in another state.)

  7. can’t get the Pillsbury or Hungry Jack coupons to pull up how do you get to them from the link you provided?
    TIA

  8. Winco also has their bulk candy for .98 lb. through October 31
