I tried the Gorton’s Artisan Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn Fillets. If you have had the pleasure of eating dinner with me and my family, you know that it is not uncommon for us to have some whining and crying take place at the dinner table. My oldest does not appreciate many dinner foods. Somehow we all survive though. My kids love the Gorton’s fillets because it tastes like a really good fish stick to them. It was the perfect amount for my family, 2 adults and 3 small children. The adults ate about 1 1/2 fillets each and the kids ate the rest. My picky oldest child even said, “Mom, you should make this again.” Seriously. Okay, then.
I served it with some steamed broccoli, strawberries (we all love them and we have an abundance right now), and rolls. We ALL thought it tasted great! Crispy and a great flavor. A happy dinner on the table in less than 20 minutes! Even better, the Gorton’s fillets only cost $2.99 for a box of 5 at one of my local grocery stores. Throw in a coupon and you’ve got a deal!
