Walmart Deals As Of 7/17/11 {Free Bengay, Cheap Dove Soap, Bleach, School Supplies and more! }

July 18, 2011 24 Comments | Disclosure

Here are the FAB deals I found this week at Walmart! These prices come from the Eagle/Fairview Walmart in Meridian, Idaho. Prices and deals may vary by store. Walmart does not publish a regular weekly ad or have a sales schedule so we never know how long the Rollback prices will last! Use my list as a guide when planning your shopping trip! There are quite a few match ups and rollbacks, so please feel free to share any other good deals you find! Also, be sure to read my Walmart Shopping Tips post for Price Matching tips and more!

Check out the Walmart Key!

Because Walmart IS the generic/mass/superstore, the brown star on this match-up represents items on sale or (Rollback). These items are priced lower then the everyday price. Grab a few but wait for a better deal to stock up!

No star- Means ok price, pick it up if you’re there and you need it.

★-Means item is currently on Rollback (sale). Better then the everyday price. Just grab a couple.

– Means awesome price! Stock up, buying only what you know you and your family will use :)

Price Matching at Walmart…

(Price Matching at Walmart is a great way to save time, gas and money! You can do it with or with out coupons. I personally love to price match produce because we rarely see coupons for fresh fruits and veggies! To price match, simply show the cashier a competitor stores ad price for an item and they will adjust the price to match! Be sure to show them the ad before they ring up the item and double check that the item you are buying is identical in brand, size and quantity to the item in the competitor ad. 1. Does anyone know if I use the tilamook shredded cheese 5 for $5 coupon from Freddy’s will walmart match it?

    • Jessica fab frugal says:

They should as long as the cheese is the same brand and size

    • :) YES. I’m a cashier at that walmart, and yeah we’ll match it, however i dont think they let us do the fred meyer coupons with manufacturer coupons, ill have to double check on that tho. :)

      • Kimberly says:

Hi Teresa! Can you help me? I have an intenet printable coupon for Dove products. The coupon says buy one Dove bodywash, save $3.75 on Dove Men +Care bodywash. I also have a B1G1 Dove Men +Care coupon that I clipped from an insert. Could I buy 1 Dove bodywash and 2 Dove Men +Care bodywashes and use both coupons at Wal Mart? I would have 3 products and be using 2 manufacturer’s coupons.

        • No, i asked my CSM earlier today about a scenario quite similar to this, and he said no, we would only be able to take one or the other. But as long as its a manufacturers B1G1, then there should be no problems. Hope this helps.

    • I tried using the 5/$5 Tilamook coupon on sunday at Walmart but it didn’t work because they don’t even carry Tilamook shredded cheese. You will have to go to Fred Meyer’s

  2. Oh, also, I dont know if you guys know this or not, since I havnt seen anything about it on the site yet, but walmart does accept albertson’s doublers. :) or at least my store does (meridian)

I find it more convienient and cheaper too, to use my doublers there.

    • Twin Falls and Jerome do not accept the doublers. But I have had no problem using Fred Meyer coupon, which they consider a price match and then using a manufacturer’s coupon as well.

  3. Amber A. says:

So quick question on the WhoNu cookies. I was not able to find them at Albertsons or Walmart. Where did you find them at?

  4. So I went to Walmart last night to try and use my doublers. My friend in Boise said she was able to use her doublers there. The cashier was not sure so she called someone over and she said I couldn’t use them. I am confused!!! Does anyone know the policy behind this? From what I have read it states that they accept all competitors coupons. A little guidance please!!!

    • the policy offically states they do not accept doublers

      • Amber A. says:

Their policy states that they DO NOT take doublers, however, certain wal-marts, not all, will take Albertson’s TTV coupons because they consider Albertson’s a competitor.

  5. Krista Porter says:

I was shopping at the Fairview walmart in Meridian and I was told they do not give overages anymore. They just adjust the price to free for the Bengay. I was in too big if a rush to care about the small overage but take I would suggest really studying their coupon policy for those who don’t know it. The cashiers don’t even know their own policy more than half the time. Good thing we have such awesome Albertsons cashiers!

    • I’m sorry you had to expeirience that, we do let you have overage for your coupons, just not when using doublers, for doublers we can make the item free, but otherwise there should be no problems with overages.

    • I was at the Fairview Walmart this morning and got overage on my items.

  6. My Walgreens sold out on the $0.19 pencils, does anyone know if I can bring in the ad to get them that cheap at Wal-mart?

    • Only if its the same brand of pencils, but i dont think walmart sells whats in the walgreens ad.

    • Oops, i mean i dont think they sell the penway brand. I think they do have the papermate mechanical pencils and as long as its a 5 pack they can match it.

  7. Get a raincheck

  8. Does anyone have a upc number for any of the whonu cookies? I still havnt been able to find any in the meridian walmart…. and id really like to try them. Albertsons was still sold out when i went this morning to the one on cole and fairveiw.

  9. Kimberly says:

    Quick Wal Mart question:

Their policy says they accept, “Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons with a specified price.” My coupon says, “Buy One Get One Free (and then in fine print says) Up to $5.99” Is this a coupon that Wal Mart will accept?

    Thanks so much.
