Target Ad Match Up 7/31-8/6

July 31, 2011 19 Comments | Disclosure

These are the best deals I see this week. Target’s ads are usually not super beefed up with deals. You will find more by going to the store with your coupons and scouting out the clearance aisles or end caps, as well as unadvertised price-cuts. As Target adds coupons periodically that can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons, more deals pop up and I will share them as they do! Keep in mind that prices vary from region to region, that you should print and bring the NEW Target Coupon Policy with you, and don’t forget your reusable bags!! Get $.05 off your total for every bag you end up using!

  1. Jennifer L says:

For the target hanes deal wouldn’t 4 pairs of kid’s socks be $16 before coupons? Did I miss something?

  2. I found Ortega chili on clearance for $.38. If you use the $1/2 Ortega coupon they are free and can be used to make some great seasonings for chicken tacos.

  3. Gloria S says:

I am new to couponing, so I have a “dumb” question. On the V8-juice at Target, I have a manufacturers coupon for $1.00 off of 2, and a Target Web coupon for $1 off 2. The Target Web coupon says, “limit one coupon or offer per transaction”, so I can only use one coupon???

    • You can use both. As long as the Target is a Target coupon. Some on there websites are manufacturers. It will say on the top once printed which it is. Target will accept a store coupon and manfacturers coupon per item.

    • Gloria,

No you can use both coupons. Targets policy is that you can combine a Target coupon with a manufacturers coupon on the same item. The Target coupon is stating that you can only use 1 Target coupon per item per transaction, so if you want to buy multiple of the same item and use multiple coupons just split them into separate transactions. Last time I was there I did 4 transactions in a row, made me feel like a complicated customer, but it’s worth it to get free stuff!

  4. Gloria , my understanding is you can use the Target coupon and the Manuf coupon .. essentially now it’s $2 off 2 or $1 off ea V8 juice. The one coupon per offer is the One web coupon only.

  5. allison says:

Was this ad in the mail or Sunday paper ?

  6. What paper do you girls get? I’m having tons of issues w/ID Press T. No inserts and it was late. Now sadly I have to wait until tomorrow to hear back from some1 : (

    • I subscribe to both the Statesman and the Press Tribune. Since they are both now printed in Nampa on the same press, the Press Tribune is always later. The Statesman, for some reason I have not inquired about, is always printed first. If there is an issue during printing, the Press Tribune always gets the short end of the deal. My Press Tribune was late today, too, due to a technical issue (according to the automatic messaging system when I phoned). I’m not sure why you didn’t get inserts…maybe your carrier was flustered with being so late and totally messed up! :( With my family, I actually utilize both papers, but one of the main reasons I added the Statesman was due to the earlier delivery and occasional extra coupon inserts.

  7. what paper do you girls get? I’m having issues w/mine. No inserts at all today and it was very very late. Now sadly I have to wait until tomorrow to hear from someone : (

  8. I bought the Hanes socks today for my kids and there were A LOT of packages with .50/1 peelies on them!!! There were peelies on the girls’ and boys’ underwear, too. I went to the Nampa target. :)

  9. Ok I just don’t see how you can say that 1.20 is a desperate price for a box of cereal. A box cost 3 or 4 dollars and a couple years ago it was common to get great coupons on cereal like 50 and 60 cent coupon that would double at the grocery store or 1.00 printables on one box of cereal. But now the best coupons I see are 1.00 off of three or 1.00 off of 2. so to me 1.20 is abount the best I see. I don’t but those itty bitty boxes that would only be one bowl of cereal in my house.

    • We consider $1.00 per box a “star” price, and $.50 a box a “pink star” price…
Like this week at Ridley’s I got 10 boxes of cereal for $.23 cents total (which was the tax). Special K cereal. :) So, to me, $1.20 is a “desperate” price :) The cereals pictured above are included in the Ridley’s sale.

  10. so i am confused on the old spice scenario….

    Buy 4 Old Spice Deodorant $3.99 & 4 Old Spice Body Wash $5.49 = $37.92
use 4 B1G1: B1G1 Old Spice Body Spray WYB Red Zone Product 7/3/2011 P&G InsertExp. TODAY 7/31(-$21.96)
    Final Price: $15.96
Receive 2 $5 gift cards, final after $10 in Giftcards: $5.96 or $.75 each! 85% Saving!!

my question is how does this work? because the coupon is you get a body spray for a red zone product u buy.. so where does the body wash fit into this deal?

    • I’m thinking she referenced the wrong coupon. I used the B1G1 coupon where you buy any Old Spice Deodorant, get any Old Spice Body wash for free. Both of these products are included in the deal. The Red Zone deodorant is 3.49/ea. and the Red Zone Body Wash is 4.74/ea. So if you only want to ge ta total of 4 products you will pay 6.98 total after coupons and get a $5 gift card back! It comes to roughly .50 per product! YAY!! (But, the coupon DOES expire TODAY!)

  11. Did anyone get the BOGO Axe coupon? I didn’t have it in my Red Plum insert. I did have two inserts missing this week, so if there were two Red Plum inserts, maybe that’s the problem … Thanks!
