Silicone Baking Mats Review

Here is a great Amazon deal on some awesome Silicone Baking Mats!

Have you ever tried a silicone baking mat? They are A…MAZ…ING!

Silicone baking mats have so many great uses! They bake your food more evenly for the perfect cookie. The non-stick surface makes them great for rolling out a pie crust, making caramel apples, and dipping chocolate. Anything you used to use parchment paper for you can now just use your silicone mat for! The clean-up is so easy too!

My Silpat review: I love my silpat. The silpat is the original made in France silicone baking mat. I was introduced to the silpat by my baking Goddess Aunt Diane. She gave one to my grandma for Christmas. I tested it out at my grandmas house and made a batch of cookies with out the silpat and a batch of cookies without. I was amazed at how much nicer the batch of cookies on the silicon mat turned out. That next Christmas I got a gift card to Crate & Barrel and I decided to get new kitchen gadgets with it. The silpat was on my list. I found a Crate & Barrel brand silicone baking mat for less than the silpat and so I decided to buy it in order to stretch my gift card a little further. I was sorely disappointed with the baking on the Crate & Barrel baking mat. So when I had a chance I ordered the silpat from amazon instead. I loved the silpat!

My Silicone baking mat review: Last Christmas I found these artisian silicone baking mats on amazon and was amazed at the price!!!!! I wanted to give the mats as gifts. So I ordered some to try them out. I was very pleased with how well they worked. I gave them as gifts to dozens of friends last year for Christmas.  See the video below to learn more about my comparison of silicone mats!

  1. $5.49 for shipping…even with prime. :-(

  2. Does not qualify for the free shipping due to coming from a different seller other then Amazon. Costco has a better deal in my opinion. You get three different mats for $19.99 at my local warehouse.

    • Oh yuk… looks like the price went up… $17.75 + $5.49 shipping. Bummer. I hope lots of people snagged it while it was $10.06!

  3. Just got them for $10.06 plus free shipping with prime! You have to go to the other options, because the main page shows $14.99.

  4. I found them for the 10.06 but it said it was out of stock. I still paid for mine and will wait patiently. I am tired of buying parchment paper. I’d love to have them in time for Christmas baking, but anytime will be great.

  5. I ordered mine, along with a CD, and used the $5 off $25 purchase. What a great deal! (even if I do have to wait a bit for them to ship)

  6. They got them back in stock and I got them for the ten dollar price with free shipping.

  7. If you are a discover card member you can get 1 day shipping with code DSCVRHSP just make sure you select 1 day shiipping than apply the code only paid 10.06 for them

  8. Thank you for this post. What a great savings, I bought the Martha Stewart mats at Macy’s and spent over 50.00. What a savings the Amazon mats are.

  9. I used mine yesterday and don’t know how I baked without them. Thanks for sharing the deal a few weeks back. LOVE THEM!!!!

  10. Helen in Meridian says:

Fred Meyer has a BOGO about 5 times a year on bakeware and accessories. This may be the on for Black Friday early morning sale for the actual silpat. I have several brands. I also use them and my silicone hot pads to put hot pans on my counter. I use them under roasts and hams that I bake too.

  11. Thank you for this review! I’m ordering now! :)
