  1. I thought you couldn’t double store coupon?

    • You can’t double store coupons because they only allow one per item and the doubler is a store coupon. However, the coupons in the sizziling summer game book, some are store and some are manufactures coupons. You have to check each one to be sure.

      Hope that helps!

  2. Are those game guide booklets still available in the stores?

  3. tiffany says:

Bummer I didn’t get any of those sizzling summer guide because people took multiples!! Also on the ice cream cone coupon the coupon states cone and you bought cups is that correct?

  4. This post is great. But its showing people its ok to take multiple coupon books and not leave any for others. Or take the coupon out and put them back.

    • Agreed. It is like the people who take tons of the tearpad coupons. I get that you want a good deal but it hardly seems right to take that many of the booklets. A bit disappointed with this post. That’s 10 booklets worth of coupons used. If everyone took 10 then what like only ten maybe twenty people that shop at your store would get the deal. With the amount of people that coupon in the treasure valley that’s such a small number. I hope I am not sounding too rude but I really disagree with the ethics of it. I mean you guys tell people not to clear shelves but clearing out coupons is kind of the same isn’t it? If you had taken just one then nine other people could have gotten in on the deal. This post promotes the wrong kind of couponing.

      • Nancy H says:

I understand the concern, but I have several of the books because I grab one everytime I shop. The stores I shop at have plenty of them. They are found at the entrance and at the checkstands. One store even keeps some at the butcher block. I have 5 Albertsons that are within 10 miles from my home. I work about 14 miles away, so I have access to even more from work. I don’t feel bad taking one book at each visit.

        • Janette says:

I agree that this is not too many. I went in to get a few pasta’s and ketchups on the last day of the old books and there were still a ton at the registers that were just going to be thrown away. I too just grab one per trip but I go in a couple times a week so if they are still available I don’t feel bad taking one per trip.

          • Great post Becky!!! You did an awesome job shopping and showing your post. I always see plenty of coupon booklet, too bad many of these people complain too much

Just be grateful we have great websites that tell us of great deals! Thanks fab ladies ;)

            • I live in a small town with one Albertsons but there are Always piles of the coupon books. There are very little people in this town who use coupons so it’s very handy for me.

              • Just reread the post and realized that it was a new coupon booklet and not the old. The one last time was super hard to find for me. I was able to get one from my store today. I got beans for .19 after the coupon. Sorry Becky I didn’t mean to be such a grouch and so mean. Not sleeping well with a teething baby.

        • I agree with you. And also almost everytime I shop the cashier puts one in my bag..

  5. Yeah- the Lindsey olive coupons expired on 6/16. How did you do that?

  6. jennifer says:

transaction 2 makes no sense w/ its math…..10 olives @ 99 cents is $10.00 take away $5.00 in olive coupons and 1.00 off for the pasta…..?? How does that come to 1.90???

  7. mmmmmmm! says:

One would have to get a lot of those sizzling summer books, they don’t have many in the area where I live and the albys is a long ways away to save some money gasoline prices are high here. Fred Meyers had a 10 for $10.00 ad for a week or so they ran out of many items, I go rainchecks only to discover the items won’t be in any stores something about their warehouse having trouble getting the items in time to use the coupons I had and not many at that..many freds people got multiple items, how much toothpaste, deodorant and health and beauty items does a family of 2 need really, your site encourages decent spending, but I see many take all the tear pad coupons, rebate slips, and buy lots for just 2 people in their home, hoarding anyone??????? that is just ridiculous, most people have to work to live and when a person cannot even buy one item on a sale in a 14 or 21 day period it certainly turns me off from shopping at that store! When you are working you don’t have time to go to different stores, it just doesn’t work..no need in trying to stock up with 2 items you don’t even get one..so I just do what I can with the coupons I have at a store that has the item or items I can actually buy and call it a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Love your site! Love all your hard work. So sad to see people complain. I say find another FREE site that helps as much as this one. Thanks Fabs. We all owe you a big thanks. To those negative Nancy’s out there, buzz off!!
