  1. The marie callenders sinle pies and oven baked frozen entres are also free:)
They are 2 for $4 and wyb 2 you get a $1 cat. So but 2 for 4.00 use 2 .75 off one from last weeks ss pay $1oop and recieve $1 manf cat :)

  2. Boy, My Albies won’t let me use the Mfr cats to double. I have trouble every time…

  3. I got 6 containers of old fashioned quaker oatmeal for $11.28(price decreases to $1.88/container wyb>4), – $1/2q x3, doubled = $5.28,+$3 in cats

  4. Just wanted to add that there is a “spend $20, get $5” Savingstar promo on the Albertsons products. I bought $20 worth for about $10 out of pocket, still have (5) $1 store coupon Catalina’s and just got my $5 Savingstar credit.

  5. Nothing much excited me at Albertsons this week. I’ve seen a lot of blog posts with nothing but junk food matchups (not just here). I’d have been interested in the EE pantry items but my pantry is pretty well stocked right now.

I used a doubler on two Quaker Oats for $.50/ea after catalina, another doubler on milk, and I found a peelie on Ora Wheat pita pockets which made them $1.50 after doubler, and that was it for me. I took my other set of doublers to Walmart to pick up some Sara Lee lunch meat since those coupons were expiring today (and my local Albertsons doesn’t carry the Sara Lee brand).

Fred Meyer has had such better prices lately on the items I regularly buy, even without messing with doublers. Their produce is lower in price and higher in quality lately. Even Walmart has had better looking produce. WM had gorgeous pears today for only $.20/lb, and they are delicious! Tomatoes were half the price at Walmart than Albertsons, and they looked a lot better.

Regarding the kitchen gadgets, Fred Meyer runs sales frequently, usually B2G1 or B1G1 at half off. Twice a year or so they’re bogo, so I usually wait for those sales for such things. I’ve never tried the EE brand so I don’t know how they compare in quality, but they look pretty equivalent.

My Albertsons won’t double catalina’s either. (I’m a different Susan that the person who made that comment).

    • Helen in Meridian says:

Susan, which Walmart has pears for .20 lb? I would love to get some if it is a store in the Boise/Nampa area. Thanks for your post.

      • Walmart in Mtn Home had pears for 5 cents per pound today! Some of them were a bit bruised, but you can’t beat the price!!!

  6. I am using coupons at CVS and doing pretty good at it. I was going to try the grocery part and I’ll have to drive 90 miles to go to Albertson’s which I don’t mind we go to Dallas to do everything. What I really want to know is do all Albertson Store double your coupons every day or is it only at certain times. I’ll be willing to drive there once or twice a month if they double coupon. None of our 3 little stores here do that. I looked on the store site in the McKinney Store I would go to but couldn’t find anything about it. Thank you so much.

    • Rita, Albertsons Northwest distributes “twice the value” coupons in Sunday papers, also known as TTVs or doublers. Usually, but not always, it’s every other week and they are valid Sun-Tue. Three per paper, and you can only use three per transaction. You use them along with a coupon up to a $1, and they will double.

The only way to rack up a lot of savings with doublers is to get multiple copies of the newspaper and do lots of transactions.

I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think that Albertsons stores in other parts of the country offer doublers.

  7. The Multigrain Pringles are 17 cents a can with $0.75/1 MQ and TTV and CAT.

I also bought two 12 pk Lipton Tea with Lemon on sale 2/$10.00 with a $1.00 CAT wyb2. I used one $1.00/2 MQ (Pepsi Moment 9-30), one $1.00 CAT from a previous trans and two TTV. Paid $6.00 and received a $1.00 CAT, so $2.50 each for 12 pk of Iced Tea!

  8. Do I need to separate transactions on multiple items of same to receive multiple catalinas?
ie: buy 2 propel get $1. I would like to purchase 6 for $3 in catalinas. Do I separate my transactions?
