  1. Are the pampers diapers in a box? And does anybody know if pampers cruisers are included?

    Thank you :)

    • Yes, they are in a box and Cruisers are included. However there are two different sizes, Giant ($35.99) and Super ($25.99), so I updated the scenario above. My store also had some Giants on clearance for $26.99. YMMV.

      • Oops, now I’m embarrassed. After my coupon didn’t work (since I bought the super pack, not giant), they pushed it through anyway. S I saved an extra $6 when I shouldn’t have…should I do something about this?

        • Sorry, I didn’t realize Safeway sold 4 package sizes of Pampers (since they only have 3 package sizes of Huggies). You could go back if you want, but since they pushed it through, I wouldn’t worry. Again, so sorry.

          • That’s ok, I could have looked more carefully too. But actually the number of diapers per package did match the range on the coupon so it was just the ” giant vs super” that got us messed up. I just like to be ethical and feel guilty, but my husband convinced me to let this one go:). Thanks for all your help!

            • The coupon wording was very confusing, but I think it is just an honest mistake on everyone’s part. No one was trying to be unethical. The couponing world needs more people who care as much as you Devin.

  2. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!! I have a question…when loading coupons onto my Safeway card, I noticed that some seemed to be the Safeway coupons listed in their ad, but others seem to be duplicates of electronic/printable manufacturer coupons from other sites. How will these work? Always as a manufacturer’s coupon or as a store coupon? Apologize for my ignorance… Thanks for your help fabulessly frugal.

    • You are right there are store and manufacturer’s coupons on there. The store coupons are the same as the ones in the ad and will say “$x.xx each” and expire shortly. The manufacturer’s ones have a “$X off” and expire later. The manufacturer’s coupons cannot be combined with another manufacturer’s coupon electronic or printable, but you should be able to stack a store and manufacturer’s coupon. (Whether both e coupons or one e and one printable). Yes there are some duplicate coupons from other sites, but I would load the ones directly off the Safeway site to make sure they come off. I hope that makes sense. If you have any other questions, please ask.

Also there is a new just4U coupon program, that gives you special coupons based on what you buy. I can’t tell you a whole lot more, because it is still unavailable in my area. I do know in the past readers have gotten things like Free 12 ct egg, and $3 off $10 produce purchase, so be sure and check if it is available to you.

      • Thank you Dawn, you’ve been very helpful :)

      • Okay Dawn I have a question… what about the coupons that say “you save $xx” are those store coupons or manufactures? For example they have an electronic coupons that says “you save .50 of spaghettios.” I also have a paper coupon for “.40 off 5.” Would I be able to use both of those??

        • Is this a Just4U coupon? I am not seeing this coupon or one like it. I do not have Just4U in my area, but I am guessing they are store coupons. I am not sure without seeing it though.

  3. Ladies do take notice of the C&H sugar sale on MONDAY ONLY, 4 lbs for $1.99, this is 50cent a pound, fabulous deal, thinking of your canning supply you will need soon. Costco is 65cents a pound when you purchase the 25 pound bag. This is as good as we get locally during the canning season from some of our other local stores. So stock up now if you can, my family and I will be.

  4. Stopped by Safeway this A.M. and their nestle valentines cookies (in the refrig. section) were on sale 1.99 with coupon from flyer and then marked 50% off! Woo Hoo! Here in Oregon we can double 4 coupons up to .50 each so with the $1.00 off printable I was able to score them for FREE! My 10 year old is as thrilled as I am. Cookies for Valentines Day :)
