Comments

  1. are the Everybody loves nuts & Wonderful pistachio coupons interchangeable? Or are they product specific?

    • Pam, the coupon is just for Everybody’s Nut. However the ad says Everybody’s Nuts OR Wonderful Pistachios, so you could use the coupon for the one you buy and get Wonderful Pistachios for your 2 free products. Also Everybody’s Nuts also has pistachios if you are looking to buy those.

      • Thanks but sadly I ahve never seen any Everybody loves nuts at my Baker City, OR Safeway and I used all my wonderfeul Pistachios q’s on the BOGO they had a few weeks ago :(

        • I would still try it. I used one coupon for the other at Walmart and I bet Safeway would do the same, its worth a shot. It is a great deal I got 6 bags for the price of 1 bag and these are expensive little boogers!!

    • I tried it tonight at my Safeway and they took it with no problem. I bought 3 packs of Wonderful pistachios and had two coupons. Computer scanned them both with no issues. The cashier did ask me about it but when I pointed out the ad and that the coupons are identical (I had an expired Wonderful coupon with me but I didn’t try to use it), he said if it scanned then it was okay. It did so he let me use them both. Both doubled to $0.50 so I ended up paying $2.99 for 3 packs of pistachios. Too bad I only had two coupons!

  2. has anybody tried the golden grain pasta deal using “whole grain” coupons?

  3. Debbie R. /Seattle says:

Yes the golden grain didn’t work the 100% grain is not on sale it is 1.79 at my Safeway in Auburn WA. Coupon makes it .79 to much for me since I have gotten pasta for free.

    • Fab Frugal says:

Darn! Thanks for the info Debbie. I will update the post.

    • yes. I went to safeway in Yelm, WA and bummed to see that they were 1.79, which to me had to be solely because of the coupons because the regular pasta was 1.79 before the sale… makes absolutely no sense to not include those when theyre all regularly 1.79.

  4. i actualy stoppd by my safeway after work…golden grain was $1 and 100% was $1.79. i knew there was a chance the coupons wouldnt work but still tried it n gave cashier a $1 off 100% pasta and 2 $.55 off golden grain pasta…used my doubl’r and ended up payin $0.19 for 3 boxes

  5. I don’t know if all Safeways have the same things on clearance or not, but I found Blistex in the clearance section. I had some coupons which doubled and gave me overage. It’s worth a look if you have Blistex coupons.

  6. I did not make it to the $5 Friday sale for the Jennie-O ground turkey and am I happy I didn’t….went in this morning for my papers and found that particular turkey now priced at $3.99. Not sure if it is all stores but that is what I found at mine in SW Washington.

    • Fab Frugal says:

That was also the price at my store in Roseburg, Oregon. Great price for that big of package! :) Thanks for sharing.
