★– means the price is better than    generic/wholesale/mass store prices!
– means this is when we stock up!!!
If we don’t star an item but it’s listed here, that means it is still a better deal than you would get at a superstore on any given day.

  1. Mustangkayla says:

Good morning! I just got back from a trip to Rite-Aide. They wouldn’t allow me to use the $10 coupon as it was valued higher than the razor. Apparently even if it is a .01 they won’t accept it. :-( Is this normal, or do some stores or clerks overlook the penny?

    • This is one of those times it pays to have the coupon policy in hand! Per the coupon acceptance policy:

“In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Rite Aid will accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is allowed.”

In lay terms, the coupon amount should be adjusted down so the item is free but you don’t get an overage. Print the policy at http://content.riteaid.com/stores/CustomerCouponAcceptancePolicyApril2012.pdf

      • Thank you for the link. About 2 lines below under multiple coupons it says that the coupons must be equal to or less than the price of the item. So I am guessing that is why it doesn’t work since the lotion is 5.99 and the coupons are 5 and 2 for a total of 7? Has anyone gotten it to work?

  2. Won’t it also be the same case with the Keri lotion?

    • Mustangkayla says:

Yes, they didn’t let me use the coupon for my Keri lotion either! :-( I ended up getting the Keri lotion and two bottles of Soft Soap for 1.49 without any manufacturers coupon, just the coupon from the ad. Still not sure how that worked out!

  3. I have a question about the Gillette deal. Doesn’t the $10 coupon for the ProGlide wyb disposable ‘count’ against both items?…and therefore you couldn’t use the BOGO coupon on the disposables? I’ve been reading comments on another blog and wanted to get your expert input on this. Thanks!
