We are taking some time with our families, for extra cuddles and lots of extra love.
I am so thankful that I can scoop my daughter into my arms and love on her! Our thoughts and prayers go our to the Families, Friends and Neighbors of those at Sandy Hook Elementary. We are taking the rest of the day off to love and cuddle our babies.
If you are trying (like many!) to escape this (and maybe throw a little extra love under the Christmas tree), you can look at our Amazon Deals here, we also have gift ideas for him, her, teens, and kids.
You can find our store deals here, (although CVS and the list of Retail coupons won’t be posted until tomorrow).
Find some free books to read to your kiddos here!
We’ve found the following information helpful and comforting today. Prayers and love to those who morn and to those sweet innocent survivors who are no doubt terrified tonight.
We’ll be back on our normal schedule tomorrow, but for today, we’re holding each one of our babies a little more close.
How & what to share with your children when tragedy strikes:
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’ To this day, especially in times of ‘disaster,’ I remember my mother’s words, and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.” — Mister Rogers
